Mar y Selva is a small place offering a variety of Peruvian food. I could not choose so I started with the causa acevichada, which was brilliant, and patacones en salsa especial. The salsa, yet again, was brilliant, while the patacones lacked some crispness. Finally, I had the tacu tacu en picante de marisco. As I have not had this before I don't know how it's supposed to be. That said I was slightly disappointed. It looked great but lacked a bit in taste. Hello JanB420 thank you very much for your comment, we are very happy for your gratifying evaluation ! We hope you come back soon, it will always be a pleasure to serve you.

An authetic Italian vibe makes Rigoletto a gathering place for locals and hip visitors. The menu is traditional Tuscan with varied daily special and samplinig of regional dishes, excellent food, great service and great atmosphere.
When in Peru use Trip Advisor! This restaurant was very easy to find thank goodness! We just arrived from Cusco and we were famished. For appetizers we had bruschetta (delicious!) and calamari (Absolutely one of the best weâve ever had! Crispy outside and moist inside!)For drinks we had pisco sour and other drink (sorry I forgot the names)For our entrees we had rigatoni, ravioli, beef with pasta and fried Cui! Everything we ordered was so delicious! Surprisingly we really enjoyed the Cui! EXCELLENT!!!!! Our first time having fried Cui. It tasted like Popeyes Chicken! We finished everything we didnât have space for dessert ââï¸HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rigoletto Lima!!!!!

What can you say of a perfect blend of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines?Try it! You ought to be fond of both. The cuisine is surprising: it's the legacy of the late chef Toshiro who had the talent of creating a totally new style of Japanese culinary.Try the sushi "acebichado", a real goddess of contemporary cuisine. Superb place. Courteous staff. Excellent food.

This modern locale is know for its fresh, regional ingredientes and its light, casual ambiance. Its menu includes ribs, hamburguers, fajitas and a variety of classic Peruvian dishes, as well as an Open Salad option for those who wish to create their own p
Wow. Ranked #7 in Lima? Right up there with the world class restaurants? Even taking into consideration the price difference, I just don't get it. Peruvian? Really? There were a few innovations on the menu but basically this is an upmarket burger restaurant similar to what you would find in most North American cities. If you don't want any surprises, and want food an atmosphere similar to a bar/grill at home, at those same prices... this is the place for you. Service was "fine". Food was "fine". No complaints. No accolades.

Bistro 400 has a trendy modern look, both in terms of its decor and food. The Amazonian paella was tasty, especially the accompanying hot sauce. Desserts include traditional Peruvian ingredients and are beautifully presented. Service is very efficient and the majority of staff speak excellent English.Dear Steve,Thank you for take a time to write about your experience in our Bistro 400. New Peruvian cuisine.
This's trip we are returning to restaurants we haven't been in a year or two, three and have found them as good as before. Mayra is even better then I remember and is now in the top five in Lima. My wife had the duck and it was wonderful. A leg, large portion of Magre de canard served over a wonderful bed of risotto. Lots of veggies. It was great. Best duck I have had in years anywhere in world. I had the suckling pig which rivaled the best I've had I never Spain. My niece a fillet with lobster and her boyfriend a delicious Peruvian stylized gnocchi. Desserts stunning. The pure chocolate was devine and the Chirimoya (custard Apple) citrus explosion was pure delight. Not expensive but not inexpensive either.Dear Mr. ChinapjsThank you very much for taking the time to dedicate us a review, we are very happy and grateful to receive comments like yours. We hope to have the opportunity to delight you again in our restaurant with your closest friends and family. We remain at your disposal.Sincerely,Mayta Family

MAIDO! That's how you'll be greeted once you step into the restaurant. A big welcoming team...ready to wow you! Maido is a humble restaurant despite it's Michelin stars and several awards. The food has a purpose, a clean vision and knows it's superb roots. The team knows and passionate about their work and they will explain each dish with respect that the dish deserve. Some dishes are more complicated than others but remember elevating simple dishes are harder since there is nowhere to hide; on the contrary Maido's dishes are proud be seen and tasted. You're already in Peru, do yourself a favor and experience Maido...

MERITO's unassuming two-story space wants to stay as far away as possible from pretention and formality, using natural materials that give a cozy yet simple ambience. The kitchen is exposed for everyone to see and has a coal oven that uses carob tree wood
Everything about Mérito is phenomenal. The space is chic and quaint, the service is attentive and friendly, and the good is just amazing! I highly recommend the lamb, octopus, and chocolate ârockâ. I went with my in laws, & we had great traditional peruvian seafood at a good price. We had ceviche de pescado, jalea mixto, causa de cangrejo & Tacutacu de mariscos. All excellent & fresh, with big servings that we couldn't finish. It's off the beaten path for tourists but worth the trip.

Located in the traditional district of Barranco, Amoramar is installed in a republican house with a minimalist and contemporary patio; offering its clients dishes from today, along with classics from always. In Amoramar, enjoy lunch in the shadows of the
Everything was delicious. Started with a small serving of pork belly with carrots and zucchini, on the house snack that was served before we ordered. For starter, we had The Ceviche Nikkei and the Ajillo Oriental, they were so delicious. Their Pisco Sour was amazing!!! The tenderloin steak over baby patatoes and baby corn were so tender and delish. The fried rice with shrimp... everything was just flavorful and satisfying. Little bites of cookies and brownies were served with coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant. A reservation is recommended, being that the location is not someone you will easily stumble into. The ambiance is just as amazing as the food.
