Firstly, the service here is wonderful, as it is across the whole hotel. We opted for the tasting menu and each dish was explained wonderfully. I'm gluten free and this was no bother for the staff at all, who made the few small necessary changes for me with no bother, and I heard other diners with dietary issues being catered for with ease as well. I appreciated the drinks recommendations, and I had barely thought 'I wish I had brought a cardigan" when I was offered a beautifully soft blanket!The food itself was gorgeous- standouts included a clam ceviche with flying fish roe and a melt in the mouth tuna sashimi. Everything is plated beautifully and delicious. At â¬55 a head for the tasting menu I felt it was very good value too, especially if you have the hotel resident discount. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to dinner here one night on our recent holiday in Costa Adeje and it was certainly a night to remember! From the moment we walked in we were blown away by the polite and helpful staff who could not have done more to make us feel welcome and make sure we enjoyed our evening. The food was amazing and we were lucky enough to have booked on a Canarian holiday night so the 5 course tasting menu was full of local dishes and paired with local wines. The chef came out to meet us at the end of the evening which was a really nice touch and we couldn't believe when we left that we had been there nearly 4 hours as the time flew by. We had dinner here this week celebrating our honeymoon it was sooooo good! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and very knowledgable about the menu. We were given water and a little amuse bouche before we started. We ordered the amazing snow crab, gambas pil pil, crispy squid to start washed down with beautifully chilled Laurent-Perrier.. deffo needed a break for sure! We werenât rushed in any way and the waiter just said to give him a nod when we were ready. For main we had the most divine fillet steaks with chargrilled peppers and crispy potatoes paired with a recommended nice cheeky vintage red. Our waiter was awesome and it was cool sitting on the bar watching Baba and his brigade at work! The scented heated towels at the end were a lovely touch. As a visitor to La Caleta for nearly 10 years, we tend to splurge on decent restaurants during our holiday - which one would we chose above all others to eat every day? Here - great range on the menu, some very good value, epic setting and location (if you book and it's not busy, you can get a great outside table with views) - just utterly perfect. Great, knowledgeable staff. Yes, it's expensive, but doesn't feel like it - very relaxed. Will definitely be coming back.
