Shortly after arriving at the restaurants, which at the time was half empty, my partner received a phone call informing him that his family member was involved in a life threatening traffic accident. My partner went outside the restaurant to take the call and I asked the waiter whether it would be possible to slightly delay service while my partner was finding out what had happened. The waiter said it would be absolutely fine. Literally a few minutes later, a chef emerged from the kitchen shouting at me in front of other guests that we shouldnât have come to a restaurant if we wanted to be on the phone (despite the fact that my partner was taking the call outside the restaurant). When I was, once again, trying to explain the situation, he refused to listen and told me to get out. Although the waitress was clearly embarrassed by this outburst and was apologetic, the chef in question did not make any effort to apologise or to even listen. The experience was beyond anything I ever imagined could happen in a restaurant which charges these prices or any restaurant for that matter. When I was shown the door of the restaurant, I went outside not only to find my partner in distress at the call he had received, but I had to tell him that we had no where to eat either and that we had been effectively chucked out into the cold. In a situation like this, when any restaurant would and should have shown human kindness and a little bit of patience, we were embarrassed in front of other guests and treated like dirt. Such a place doesnât deserve to be in business.Dear SirFirst I would like to express that I hope that your friend's family is okay. Concerning what happened yesterday, I can only say that the chef was way out of line. This is not his normal behaviour. There was clearly a miscommunication between the waiter and the chef. I wish to offer our deepest apologies for what happened. Kind regardsChris Mestdagh

We offer fine seasonal Flemish - French cuisine by Chef Gregory Slembnrouck whose inspiration is led by high quality, fresh market produce. His second home is certainly his stove, where he spends most of his time there creating and working his culinary ma
We were in Bruges for a few days to celebrate my wife's birthday and I decided to look for something special for her birthday dinner. I chose Le Mystique from on-line research and booked through their website. The booking was quickly acknowledged followed by a message to provide a credit card number. This I did by telephone and received rapid confirmation. Prior to the due date I received a text reminder. We were greeted in a most friendly manner on arrival and shown straight to our reserved table - one of the best in the small restaurant area that was in use that evening. Although I had been asked in advance whether we had any allergies or intolerances I had unfortunately failed to mention that my wife does not eat fish.As the menu is based on a five course tasting menu - there is an a la carte option too - the chef was consulted about how my wife could have her five courses without fish. This was done without fuss and a suitable list of courses was quickly devised.By the time we had an appetiser and other little treats between courses it felt as if we had eight course rather than five! Each offering was exquisite in both taste and presentation and we had a most delightful meal which will long be remembered for all the right reasons.Service was efficient by well informed staff who seemed genuinely eager to please. The meal was not cheap but this was fine dining done very well. Highly recommended for a special occasion.Dear guest,We feel honored that you have chosen our restaurant for the special occasion of your wife's birthday. We would really like to thank you for taking your time to review your dinner with us and will personally make sure that your kind words are transferred to the entire team.It is highly important to us to exceed each of our guests' expectations and we like to do whatever possible in order to achieve that, even if there is an unforeseen situation! We look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit in the magical city of Bruges!Kind regards,Johan, Isabelle and team

Welcome to the Parkrestaurant ! A stylish yet relaxed restaurant in a 19th-century listed Townhouse, facing the beautiful Koningin Astrid Park. Family owned since 1989. Traditional, simple, yet tasty, Belgian cuisine. Jazzy background music. Menu formulas
Following a wonderful 15 day SCENIC River Cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam, my wife and I spent 3 nights in Amsterdam and 4 in Bruges (Belgium) at Hotel de Orangerie. While in Bruges, we dined at the Park Restaurant. Axel (co-owner) with his brother Frederic (co-owner, CHEF) run an INCREDIBLE SHOW. From start to finish, the attention, food, adult beverages, ambiance, email follow-up "pre and post" were ALL what the WORLD needs more of. Simply AMAZING - Peter & Ann.

Sent a mail on Wednesday to have dinner on Friday which worked perfect. We ate the menu, 4 different delicious dishes combined with perfect selected wines. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very sober but nice ! We especially liked the extra cheese dish but overall the food, service and price were excellent, first try but we'll do it again in the future.

Located in a building from the 11th century, ât Oosthof offers everything from a small snack to full-on menus. As a tourist, you need to stop by when you are in Bruges for example. Itâs a 10 km bike ride from the centre and you will get a good impression of the real Flemish countryside on your way here. As a local, you can just as well enjoy the fish menu (as we did) or an ice cream for the children. There is a large parking lot and a big playground that includes an inflatable castle. The staff at ât Oosthof is very friendly, discrete and knowledgeable. They know what they serve and are happy to explain. The menu card includes a selection of menus or a wide variety of dishes to eat a la carte. Iâve dined several times here and I must say the kitchen has never let me down. This time we chose the fish âpromenadeâ which truly was a âwalkâ through the best the sea has to offer. Surprising combinations, trendy lay-outs and a very fitting white house wine made our table a very happy one. Special mention for the desert which was the perfect ending to a perfect night. We were seated in the wine room, which has a very solemn and quiet atmosphere, away from the main dining room, so perfect for an evening gathering with friends or family among many, many bottles of red wine. Thanks, we hope to see you again.

I very much enjoyed my visit to Eethuis Mint! The atmosphere is great, and the staff takes pride in their job. Makes you feel very welcome. Exquisite selection of meat, served with much care.

This restaurant uses a lot of Asian ingredients and lots of their food is quite spicy. The presentation is also very nice. But the price of the beverages is a bit unreasonable. I don't expect to pay EUR12 for 1 litre of water, EUR15 for a glass of lemonade and EUR7 for an espresso. The acoustic of the dining room is also not good, it is a bit noisy and not easy to manage a conversation.

We've been here three times, thanks to an action called 'Jong Keukengeweld' which gives people between the age of 18 and 30 the opportunity to experience haute cuisine. And haute cuisine it is, of the most excellent and exquisite kind! Every time again we've had the best time here: the staff is extremely professional and kind, the food is to die for. And if you think 'michelin star = still hungry when leaving', you're wrong. I just can't wait to experience the sublime and surprising taste combinations again!
