Attractive restaurant, with a very large and diverse menu. Specials on a week night were fairly limited - but that was on a weeknight. Not a restaurateur, but suspect that when the menu selections are as numerous as this, the food is not freshly prepared. The beef burgundy was mostly tender cubes of beef swimming in a demiglace sauce with hardly a carrot or onion in sight. The trout was overcooked, and in my view, should not have been served with the skin on, since it was not grilled, it was sautéed or similar prep. The butternut squash soup, with a dollop of goat cheese was good, but very spicy. The goat cheese did not need to compete with all that spice.I would not go back to the restaurant simply because the Huntington Woodbury area has so many restaurants that are just as good and some are much better.

We ordered a clissic French dish: Escargots. But not a single one of them were to be found under the garlic parsley butter! to the point we thought it was a joke made by the chef. Nope. The quality of the sirloin was also very poor and the peppercorn sauce full of cornstarch. even the fries were not tasting good.

I was SO looking forward to this place, love French food and by reviews it looked to be a good new place to try. Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, decided to pass on our usual quality haunts for something different and now weâre sorry. Poor service, not attentive. Needed to ask for more water and drinks. Doesnât a restaurant make big bucks on alcohol? Wow! My Saumon tartare app was actually good, but the short ribs were tough. I have had so much better for much less price. My husbandâs strip steak was tough to cut with their steak knife and grizzly. He likened it to grocery store grade meat. The manager came over and admitted the fries were frozen and that customers preferred it to hand cut ones. He ignored my husband when he said his meal was not so great. No offer to âfixâ it or offer something else. Pricey and disappointing! We donât mind paying more for quality. We didnât find it here. As I write this, Iâm actually downing an Alka Seltzer! Havenât had that in years! We should have gone to one of our usual wonderful haunts. Wonât be back! There are so many places on the island that we love. Sadly we didnât go to what we know.
