We have been there a couple of times after an early morning movie on Sundays. The crepes are decent and the rest of the food is actually good. The children menu is also quite nice for the price. Prices are reasonable for the portions and the quality. Service can be a bit slow sometime but the staff is very responsive when you ask. And for young kids there's a small bouncy castle indoor, which is quite fun for kids considering you most likely go there before or after 2 hours at the movies. Thanks

This restaurant is part of the Hotel du Moulin and as such it has some limits that mar its otherwise nice atmosphere. The food is really good but when you pick from the menu, the "fixed price" combinations are pretty limited, which is a shame. The food is otherwise very good and the service, although a little hard to catch the attention of, is generally good. The only problem with the place is the atmosphere. I ate here twice and on one night our group was quiet quite - as was the rest of the guest and the quiet fed into an atmosphere that felt odd to speak in. The next time we had a larger group and we were very chatty and laughing a lot - drawing a lot of stares from others who were eating in silence. This was a minor thing though and the good food made up for it, even if the value deals represent the less desirable parts of the menu.

We were staying in Kingersheim on our way back from our holiday in Italy and were recommended this local restaurant. It was a touch difficult to find - but we were glad we persisted. Despite being told that it would shut at 8.30 pm - at 9.00 (when we had finished eating ) it was still going strong. We were among the first customers to arrive. Our hostess was very welcoming and very forgiving of my not-very-good- French. The food was very, very good and the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming - we sat and happily chatted with other customers (French). I can truly recommend the escargots! All in all very good value for money and a little gem of a restaurant.

We sat outside on a gorgeous sunny day & had a beautiful meal. The chicken salad was fantastic & the lamb superb. Nice drinks & ambience.

If you are in the region, you should consider getting a dinner there. It is a nice place to get a crepe. Nice cider too. Service is fast and salted crepe are served with a salad (very mich appreciated). One could regret the rather small amount of choice, but all the crepes we tried were really nice.

Some former work colleagues suggested we try this recented new restaurant for lunch earlier this week - it is a converted former factory-- hence the name SHEDApart from the fact they do not whisk(e)y , we were all very pleasantly surprised . The service was super efficient and very friendly , the ambiance was excellent ( the place was packed ) and the food , all from local produce was also excellent Choice as limited but what there was , was very very good and included vegetarian optionsLocal Alsation draught beers and good wine list , again correctly pricedAmple parking was another plus Prices gave excellent value for money, We agree -- we will be back
