Balagan City is one of my favorite experiences. Located inside of a mall, this massive restaurant has something for everyone. There is a live theater production (we just saw a 20's version of Romeo and Juliet; Last year we saw a musical version of the grinch) witch is FANTASTIC! The singing, acrobatics, and pure talent is amazing to see and be a part of. After the show a band set up. They were so diverse and talented! We joined in the fun by going out onto the dance floor late into the night. If you are anywhere in the Voronezh area, visit this place!

What about my favourite cafe? It's a French cafe-bakery Mone. It's situated in the centre opposite the former Children's World shop on Plekhanovskaya Street. I recommend you to visit it! Always tasty fresh food and good service. I am definitely a sweet tooth and you can believe me that their cakes, pancakes and other desserts are very delicious! Also I adore their breakfasts. Not expensive but useful and tasty.

Restaurant YUGOSLAVIA.We learned about this restaurant from our local friends while visiting Voronezh. It's not often that you can have the chance to sample cuisine from a country which (politically, at least) no longer exists.Yugoslavia restaurant claims to plunge you into an unforgettable atmosphere of Serbia and Montenegro and to make you feel the warmth and hospitality of the Balkan people in a cozy corner of Voronezh. We were not disappointed when we visited for a lunchtime meal. The restaurant consists of 5 halls: Fireplace hall, Red hall, Mediterranean hall, VIP hall, Banquet hall and summer terrace. It is therefore suitable to host a variety of events, from cozy meals for two to large weddings and corporate events. When we arrived, we had the choice of any of the halls, and chose the Red hall. The atmosphere was, as I imagined, typically Balkan and the staff were very polite and attentive. At the time of our visit, the restaurant was very quiet and the service was very relaxed. We chose chicken and pork dishes from a very varied menu, and supplemented these with a salad dish and a bottle of sparkling wine.My dish in particular, consisting of skewers of pork enclosing pieces of ham, was delicious. One point to note however - the portions were very generous, so be prepared. As a result, we skipped dessert and finished with coffee.Due to the relaxed nature of the restaurant, we were able to sit and chat for a couple of hours in a delightful environment. The prices were very reasonable and, taking everything into account - the food, the service and the surroundings - it was a very pleasant experience.
