Reviews on French food in Victoria, Mahe Island, Seychelles. A day on foot is ample time to see Victoria, one of the smallest capitals in the world. Located on Mahe, one of the Seychelles' 115 granite and coral islands, Victoria is the republic's business and cultural hub. At its center sits the Victoria Clocktower, a national monument reminiscent of London's "Big Ben" that has kept ticking since 1903, unaffected by the modern glass and concrete development around it. Visit the local art galleries and craft markets to soak up the city's friendly charm.

Lovely ambience to the whole place. Past colonialism meets future food excellence. We were met with a smile and helped to outdoor seating overlooking the growing sugar cane. The facility is not just a restaurant but also a Rum distillery. Obviously the pre-dinner cocktails had a rum theme. We had a beached Mojito and a rum Negario. Both tasted great. Food was a high quality. Prawns with seaweed and veal/tuna for starters. Both very good. The mains were even better. Kingfish wrapped in bacon. And duo fish. Oh my word. The taste of both was lovely. Great job by the chef and the staff. This is a MUST visit place for anyone visiting the Seychelles.

Restaurant /Brasserie sur la Marina d'Eden Plaza à Eden Island Spécialité de crustacés et fruits de mer. Pizzas au feu de bois Pâtisseries et glaces maison Ouvert non stop 7/7 de 8h à 00h
Last visited 2 years ago when I rated as average. This was a better experience. The food was very good, as was the service and the atmosphere was pleasant. We both had the Greek salad for a starter, which was huge and delicious. Mind you for £15 it should have been.Certainly one of the better choices of restaurants at the marina. The Seychelles is not a cheap holiday destination, but just now it's really expensive for Brits with the poor exchange rates. The meal cost us the best part of £100 for two salads, two pizzas and a bottle of wine. Not the restaurants fault, but it did hurt a bit!Thank you for your opinion .... It's true that Seychelles is a destination expensive and for the restoration it comes from the fact that everything is imported because virtually nothing is produced locally and large import tax
We stopped here for lunch based on reviews for Kaz Zanana but the restaurant has been replaced by a patisserie that has only been open for 5 weeks. We had the best pizzas not only in the Seychelles but for as long as I can remember and for dessert an excellent mille-feuille and the best coffee we've had in Seychelles. As the lunch was so good we returned for breakfast the next morning and had the best baguette and croissants I've had outside of France. Jules should definitely look into supplying bread to some of the restaurants around Victoria as not a single one we've visited does good bread

LE BISTRO - the place close to town with easy access and parking where you can eat rapidly (or not if you prefer not to :-) ) delicious Creole and French dishes at very affordable prices . Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and sweets . Open from Monday to F
Le Bistro is a very cosy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are mostly French-speakers but they speak other languages as well and are very welcoming. The menu ha few options but whatever is on offer is definitely worth. My colleagues and I had a birthday lunch there and we had a wonderful time. The food came warm and served with a smile and we didn't even have to wait long. I ordered grilled squid in spicy sauce and a serving of steamed vegetable. The portion is a bit small but the price is right. The dessert was just fantastic and comes highly recommended- they are also very affordable.Overall it's a great place (very busy during lunch time) but it's a shame they close at 17h00. They should really consider opening unti later (say, dinner) and weekends. It's a great change from your ordinary french restaurant as it really gives you a local taste of Seychelles.

I really enjoyed three fabulous service and the romantic atmosphere created by the lights on the deck and the fish swimming in droves in the ocean outside! The Criole Bouillabaisse was a superb dish! The only restaurant right on the beach a few meters away from the Indian ocean ! Lunch light on the terrace, select your preferred tapas or taste a succulent ice cream in the afternoon in between dips in the sea. Enjoy magnificent sundown while enjoying d
We have waited 20 minutes to our order to be taken. Then after 30 minutes we got drinks. After another 10 minutes of waiting they have told us that the dish we order is out of stock. So we waited across 50 minutes and left hungry at the end. Wouldn't recommend that place to anybody.
