This is the restaurant of a good hotel in the very attractive town of Tréguier. It offers an inexpensive lunch menu on week days which we were unable to try and we had to take the Sunday lunch menu. Everything was good, including the service, but nothing was really remarkable. With one glass of wine each and water, the bill was around 120 euros. It is not clear that the cooking is better than in the La Clarté restaurant of Perros Guirec which lost its Michelin star sometime ago but to try to understand the inconsistencies of the Michelin guide is beyond ordinary mortals.

Arrived early for an interview at local college. After looking at several menus at different restaurants we choose the Auberge du Tregor. Went for the 10.50⬠play, good choice of dishes. Both of us had the roast pork tenderloin n pepper sauce, it was wonderful. On arrival we were greeted warmly and service was very good.On the table next to us were 4 other Brits and they also seemed to have enjoyed their meals as well.

Myi husband and our friend chose a set menu, but I only wanted one course, so chose the moules with an option of sauces. The two chaps chomped their way through a lovely starter, a buckwheat tagliatelle, with white cheese and fish.....with the obligatory gorgeous French bread and butter. Then time for the main course.....my moules mariniere was beautifully served, with fires...the boys had steak, equally beautifully presented.Sadly our friend, who has many health issues was unwell, our hostess was fantastic, really empathetic, understanding, even amended the bill deducting the boys desserts, as we needed to get our friend back home PDQ.However, we intend to be back for lunch next week, and back on Friday for dinner,,,, with some friends .....so in conclusion, the food was excellent, the service fantastic, the empathy and understanding given the circumstances unblelieveable, so thank you for everybody concerned.

I love Treguier and visit several times when I go on holiday to Brittany. I hadn't really noticed this creperie previously but it looked interesting with honey and flour for sale outside when many of the other places were closed or full.Going inside I found one large room on two levels that looked like a medieval dining and living room knocked into one (which is probably was). Furniture and decoration was rustic with free newspapers available. On the higher level was a bar / cooking area.It seemed one can reserve a table but there was space on a large bench table. In terms of clientele I found this was popular with other Brits but locals were also in evidence. The menu is fairly short and consists mostly of savoury and sweet Galettes and crepes with local cidre and coffee, from what I recall. The simple choice is reflected by simple prices. An interesting twist is cutlery cups and plates are disposable presumably for Eco reasons.I had a Complet galette but you could customise the ingredients.Service was prompt and very friendly, it helped if you could speak French but you could get through the basics with rudimentary French. The meal was very good and was just right for a light lunch.A helpful lady gave me the current edition of Oeust France and there was a yearbook of old photos. In summary it was very homely and felt like being a guest in an old merchants house. On leaving I bought some flour which comes on various types to attempt to cook my own Galettes but why bother when you can have it done properly at a good price at this establishment?

La Krampouzerie has a lovely outlook over the river estuary and the square where the market is held on Wednesdays. I don't normally choose to eat crepes or galettes, but on this occasion I was very hungry. I have to say that th galette complete (with cheese, ham and fried eggs) was really good. Service was quick and friendly. It was not expensive.

The Poissonnerie Moulinet is designed for serious seafood lovers only. Fresh seafood market on the ground floor and 2 floors of seafood restaurant above. They were kind enough to let my wife and I in when they opened at 7:00 even though all tables were reserved. Just about all of the 30 or so people who fit on the Second floor ordered 1 of the 5 or so mixed steamed seafood platters. I ordered the â¬25 size the second smallest. My wife helped and we had to work hard to finish it. We also split a seafood soup which I thought only ok. Broth not very interesting, light on seafood. The steamed platter was served on its own leaving the fresh seafood to shine. Which it did magnificently. There was lemon slices and a mustard mayonnaise for flavoring if desired. My plate included 4 oysters, many of three kinds of shrimp, a pile of snails, 5 or 6 small welk, half a huge Dungeness crab, several small clams. We split a good muscadet wine and enjoyed a very pleasurable meal.

Berthed in Treguier Marina, walked up into town and enjoyed superb gallettes at this family-run restaurant. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. Atmosphere was very pleasant and there appeared to be a great welcome for families in another large room.A very good experience. Sorry we didn't have room for the crepes afterwards !The menu seemed quite extensive, plenty of choice for another day.

Itâs always good to return somewhere and find your positive impressions confirmed. So coming back to Le 5 after a year could have been an anti-climax but wasnât; despite being the only customers for lunch on market day (hard to understand) we left very satisfied. Their formula works well, offering a single menu with variations - so three courses for 30 euros, the possibility of two at lunchtime for 22 euros, and a couple of specials for a 5 euro supplement. The food was again imaginative, clever, quite beautifully presented, and worthy of greater recognition from Michelin. Hard to pick out particular plates, because the tartellete of sardines was gorgeous and both the cod and the fillet of sole main courses quite outstanding. Very pretty desserts from a chef who likes moulds!Sadly, the wine list lacks a bit of variety but on the other hand it is kept cheap (nothing much above 25 euros) and the wines are good examples of their varieties. An excellent Oc Viognier tasted very fine and was worth more than we paid. This place really is worth the visit if youâre in this area - you wonât eat as well for so little very often.

The service here was great and relaxed. The tuna mi cuit with oriental flavours was fantastic. Great choice of fish for main course even catering without advance warning for my shellfish allergy. Then the strawberry dessert which was pretty as a picture was SO tasty Fantastic cooking. Book before it becomes too popular
