We stopped for lunch after a strong recommendation from French friends who know their food. What a find - we subsequently went twice more during our 10 day stay. The food is just so fresh and varied - and the owners clearly care about providing a good environment. Highly recommend the Creole Menu with incredible seared tuna. The last time we went there the owner of a nearby well-regarded restaurant was dining with his family during his day off - what more recommendation do you need?

Great seaview but the food was nothing special. Expensive for the quality and the quantity given. We were really disapponted and sure we will never return in this restaurant. Most probably frozen food is served. We found much better restaurants in this island with interesting price, quality.

We arranged for lunch at Le Debarcadere, originally because our other choices were closed on a Monday and it came highly recommended by a local resident. This proved to be a happy accident. We enjoyed a memorable meal in a very pleasant setting with extraordinarily gracious hosts (who even speak a little English, to help when our French failed us). The restaurant is on the 2nd second (1er stage) of a building just next to the main ferry dock so provides a ring-side seat for the circus of people arriving and departing the island. The family that runs it is from Bordeaux and could not be nicer. The wife and daughter wait on tables, the husband is the chef de cuisine. And what a cook! The fresh, locally sourced fish is fabulous: Lion fish, dorado, yellowtail snapper, tuna, marlin can all be on the menu depending on the catch. We had the lion fish and tuna - both good. My father-in-law had the entrecote steak, being tired of eating so much fish in the Saintes. We all shared accras and calamari as starters - the calamari was the best we have eaten anywhere in the world. Save room for desserts: chocolate mousse, creme brûlée, tiramisu. The whole meal was less expensive than several other places on Terre-de-Haut. Highly recommended, both for the ambience and the food.

I have dined in this place a number of times. Its a great place and slightly off the beaten track. Its worth the 10 min walk out of town to dine here.Menu of the day is always fantastic. Good Wineits typically French and busy, hence you may have to wait a while between courses. having said that I return time after time.Follow directions to airport and you will find this place about 10mins out of town

The ambience is nice; it is quiet enough for conversation. Sadly, they allow smoking. Our party had very good meals and especially recommends the lamb chops. The cassoulet was disappointing. The service was good and the prices appropriate to a high-quality restaurant. It was a nice evening, but not so outstanding that we will be regulars in the future.

C'est un restaurant où vous pouvez choisir de manger sur place ou prendre à emporter. Vous pouvez y manger des galettes de sarrasin, des salades à se composer sois même, des panini à tout heures car service non stop à partir de 9h00.
I had the "Miss Guadeloupe" crepe, which if I recall correctly was a tasty concoction of Nutella, banana, ice cream and Chantilly cream. Quite good. There were a selection of other tantalizing crepe creations, which made selection difficult, but the Nutella crepe did not disappoint. Worth a stop for a break between sites or shopping.Thank you so much for your message... I wait you to discover my other crêpes. ..Best regardsCaroline

Enjoyed our lunch so much yesterday, we came back again for lunch today. Beautiful setting on the water, great service but food is the star. I enjoyed the oussous fricasse and hubby loved the gnocchi with shrimp and veggies. Both had excellent sauce. Today we enjoyed the house special, Tuna Tataki. Amazing!!

This restaurant is stunning and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very original with some really unusual flavour combinations and the cocktails were fab- banana daiquiri is my new favourite! It's a hefty price tag, we would say it was worth it.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and were very happy with it. It is very popular and the hotel reserved a table for dinner for us earlier in the day. As others have said this small restaurant is right on the beach and a beautiful place to eat on a balmy tropical evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and speak some English if necessary. We chose from the 25 euro menu for 3 courses which offers plenty of choice. It specialises in seafood and local specialities with a Creole twist but meat options are also available. I sipped a Planters' Punch and my partner had a beer whilst making our choices and we both chose seafood dishes which were delicious. We each had a glass of wine with our meal. There were about eight dessert choices. The chocolate mousse was very good and so was the banana flambé! There are many restaurants to choose from in the little town here on Terre de Haut and as we only had two nights we were pleased we were recommended 1 Ti Bo Doudou. It's a Creole phrase and you need to ask the proprietor its meaning! It opens at 7pm and booking is definitely recommended. Our total bill including drinks and tax was 70 euros which we thought was good value.
