Delaire restaurant is situated at the winery and overlooks the Franschhoek valley. It offers approachable fine food with fresh and vibrant flavours. Guests are able to dine on the terrace under a canopy of pin oak trees or within the spectacular interiors
Views and landscaping are absolutely stunning, however our lunch was disappointing. Not good value for money - you can get much better quality and quantity elsewhere. I expect a lot better for a R400 main (...or a R185 salad which consisted or a few leaves, a strawberry and 4 slices of halloumi!). Out mains arrived ice cold. Wine was good - not incredible. Definitely catering to the tourist. Wont be back and wont reccomend unfortunately because those views were phenomenal.

In the lap of casual luxury, Mont Marie offers a unique food, wine and family experience in a spectacular country setting in the heart of the Blaauwklippen Valley. Using only the freshest ingredients, Chef Pieter Vlok adds authentic flavours to a variety
This restaurant has the most beautiful setting, but the meal experienced there today was disappointing and I will not return. There are no vegetarian options for main courses so I opted for the cheese ravioli from the starters section. If it wasn't for the fact that we were hosting guests I would have sent the food back immediately. There was no cheese in the ravioli, no flavour in the dish and the whole overall presentation was unappealing.

Situated within a security complex, this restaurant next to the wine tasting room offers in and outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. The menu,s are presented on blackboards, which change weekly. The menu is divided into starters, mains and there is a separate board fo deserts. Starters are limited, but the prawn risotto has been there for 15 years, so it is a no brainer to try. The food can be paired with wine, or you can bring your own at R65/bottle. Foolish excellent but rich and to my mind garnished on the sweet side. Winter special is worth a while.

I don't remember Joostenberg Bistro having such a bad service, I took my family there for a quick lunch and a beer, we had a long wait 1 1/2 hours wait for our food , It gets awkward when you have to wait that long for food. Do they expect us to get drunk and forget we ordered? the food came and was okish.... I guess when you are that hungry you will eat anything. I don't know if I will visit them again.Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry to hear that you had such a diappointing experience at our establishment. We aim to offer friendly, efficient service and to treat customers with respect. We are shocked to hear that you waited so long. From the time that an order is taken to the time food is served, is ususally about 15 - 20 minutes, and during the busiest time - which was breakfast in the school holidays - the wait from order placed to food on the table was 30 minutes at the longest. We have discussed your complaint and we don't know how this happened or why it was not picked up on the day. Please email us on [email protected], should you wish to give more info or take the matter further. Please accept sincere our apologies. We hope that you will visit us again.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely casual restaurant and fabulous staff....the food - so good. The pork cheeks were melt in the mouth and the charred calamari delicious. The chocolate biscuit with pear dessert - Wow! Christoph is a great chef, we loved the whole experience and will return soon.
