The food was very tasty but not much of it. My co-worker and I ordered a steak for me and Chateaubriand for him. Both came and were the same. We were even both charged for the Chateaubriand on our bills. The waiter had to ask several times to confirm our orders so it was no surprise they were not correct. Got fries as well instead of oven potatoes.On the plus side, other than the food being tasty, after out waiter took our order he seemed to disappear without a word. 8am seemed like an odd time for a shift change but we were happy with our new waiter.We ate in the sidewalk patio and although twit was raining a bit, I was still comfortable and dry.

Het Gevoel is situated in an impressive house (going to the toilet is worth the visit :) ).Although we sat inside, I think there is a nice garden to. The setting is very quiet and relaxing. The service was also very good, as is the food.We had both the salad with goat cheese and salmon, but none of us could find any salmon on her plate... This salad was 19 euro, which is a bit expensive for what it was. I asked some fries with it instead of bread, and had to pay 3 euro extra for the fries. Which is A LOT.The chocolate sauce of the dame blanche was made of delicious pure chocolat and the wine was good too.I enjoyed my visit, but had the feeling I payed way to much for what I had eaten. (especially when the salmon was missing)

Excellent kitchen, excellent service very friendly staff. Highly recommended. This place is a little bit outside of the little tiw called Beveren.vit outsi. Tge deserts are wonderful too.

To summarize my business diner two weeks ago; Tastefull refined food at its best and served in decent sized portions (which seems to be often a difficult combination). Friendly and professional staff. Yes it is not cheap and total price is more than I ussualy spend on diner. But it is value for money. I will be back with friends & family.

We went there on a Tuesday after having made reservations. It's situated in a mansion overseeing the square with a nice view. The food was excellent as well as the service.Would definitely dine there again. Especially in the summer

Delicious food, exquisite and very well presented. What is charming here is the outdoors tables in the backyard garden, where you can enjoy your meal under a sunny day. The price is a bit above the average (starters + main course + dessert + glass of wine) for about 40⬠or more, but it's a great dining experience, especially for business gatherings.Thank U for your comment. This restaurant is really top class in the Waasland. I'm surprised it did not get a Michelin star yet. Both the exquisite creative dishes the chef creates and the service are perfect. The only point against is that it lacks some cosyness, and the prices are rather steep.
