We went for dinner on the 14 juillet. We shared a salade du sud-ouest as a starter and then had respectively a cote de veau and a tournedos. All good quailty and well prepared. Service (presumably by Mme la proprietaire) was friendly and efficient. Wines were available en pichet. A thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Small, fresh menu with attentive staff. Good spot and a welcomed addition to the town s lunchtime-especially on market day!

I come to Sens regularly,so I was delighted to find this little gem in a small pedestrian street . On a sunny day we sat outside and enjoyed a pleasant lunch, the food was adequate, nothing out of the ordinary. The waiting staff was a bit slow .

A massive fish counter. Make your choice. Cooked in front of you. Steamed or grilled and served with a choice of side dish.Good value wine.Monday service very busy and staff a little hassledChef arguing with irate customers whoâve been waiting for 45 min for drink and food. Understaffing may be a problem.Very good and simple concept.

Recommended by a neighbour who was passing the area.Set in a quiet village.3-course lunch menu at â¬28 and â¬31 with cheese. Good value compared to many nearby restaurants.Wines, not overpriced. Nice touch with a tiny cup of gaspacho and a quenelle of fish mousse as appetisers.Foie gras starter on a crumbly brioche and a red onion and cassis marmalade. I wouldâve loved the marmalade a bit more syrupy. The main-course: two fillets of red mullet with a butternut squash purée, Jerusalem artichokes and black olives. Unusual combination but turned out to be really delicious.Nice cheeseboard.Very pleasant and efficient service.

Tucked-away in an alley near the cathedral, this restaurant offers Savoyarde food, i.e. plenty of melted cheese (raclette, fondue, etc.). The food comes quickly, the service is good, prices are moderate, and you can sit outside if you feel like it.

This restaurant is owned and managed by Patrick Gauthier the Michelin starred Chef who owns the attached Madeleine restaurant. Le crieur de vin is still a very high calibre restaurant with excellent French food and service. More affordable and less formal than La Madeleine but there is no compromise on quality.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Service is spotless, food is imaginative and high quality, the Chef is lovely and accommodating of the patrons' wishes. The cheese selection is very very good and all recommended cheeses were spot on. Wine and Champagne selection is also nice. The chocolate dessert I had was, without any debate, the best dessert I have ever eaten in my life. Recommended for a lovely dinner out.
