This restaurant is located in the beautiful town of Saint Aignan sur Cher. The restaurant is really nice inside and the service is perfect. High quality food and the plates are prepared by the chef as top restaurant. I would not be surprised if they could get Michelen guide stars. Excellent seafood that we tasted and outstanding desserts. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a visit to the Loire and had pleasure again, to visit this wonderful restaurant. Anne and Pascal the wonderful owners, Anne being the chef, could not have made us more welcome, food was incredible, steaks so tender and delicious, sauces fabulous and cheeses - some of the most delicious ever tasted, fabulous wine list and served to perfection... lovely atmosphere, I cannot understand the reviews below that did not give this restaurant a five star rating! what do people want!We cannot wait to return and be welcomed and dined again. Belle salle avec des tables suffisamment espacées. L'accueil est agréable et la serveuse sympa. Très belle présentation des assiettes. Les plats sont très bons et suffisamment copieux. L'addition est plus que convenable. Ce restaurant mérite vraiment détour.

Delightful small establishment now offering rooms of a high quality.I've had several meals here before and all have been very good and of good value. I love the egg mayonnaise starter. The wine is of the region and equally good.The rooms are all new and furnished to a high standard. The only things missing were shampoo and conditioner and also a hairdryer.Will certainly stay again.

A busy Saturday night so we were lucky to get a table for two sans reservation.The staff were cheerful and friendly, quickly realising that we were English and happy to say the odd word to help us.We had a vegetarian and a marguarita, which were tasty enough, but not quite as flavoursome as we had expected. They were however a very good price, so no complaints in that respect.Interesting beers - the Desperado was nicer than the Grimbergen Blanche but we are not experts!!They do a children's offer as well for about 8 euros.A clean tidy restaurant, and excellent toilets.Worth a visit.

Avant d'arriver à Selles sur Cher, ce joli petit restaurant m'a incité à un arrêt salutaire. Accueil courtois. Plusieurs menus à tarif intermédiaire, et surtout bonne table avec une cuisine recherchée et goûteuse. Carte des vins correcte et ambiance calme. Etape à ne pas négliger.

La devanture ne paye vraiment pas de mine, lâintérieur est kitch, mais la patronne vous accueille gentiment et vous installe dans une salle de resto PROPRE. Une vraie cuisine, simple mais de bonne qualité faites par un vrai cuisinier. OUI, oui çà existe encore. Pour 22 euros j'ai pu déguster une salade de gésiers (salade verte fraîchement lavée) et gésiers chauds et goûteux, 2 côtes d'agneau très tendres (cuites selon mes souhaits) accompagnés de pâtes et d'haricots verts, plateau de fromage (plateau largement garni à volonté) et d'une tarte aux prunes MAISON réellement faite maison, tout cela accompagné d'un verre de très bon gamay et d'une 1/2 bouteille d'eau gazeuse et d'un café expresso.Le service est agréable, assuré par la patronne. Bon appétit a ceux qui visiterons Selles sur Cher

With an attractive terrace we chose to eat lunch outside. The staff seems a little distracted the day we visited with items forgotten, tables left unattended and things a bit disorganised. It may have been that several other restaurants were closed as the summer rush has just finished. The food was very acceptable with a tasty pizzas being the highlight. Would I go back - well I might, especially if the other placed were closed!
