We had a great dinner. Excellent combination of food, service and the location (The interior was recently updated). We did not visit the restaurant for several years and were positively surprised by the experience (which already used to be good). The team was well aware of dietary wishes in our group and managed to deliver a great experience for all.Tante Kee is definitely worth a visit. Restaurant Iets Anders is open daily, we offer a great menu in French bistro style and we are available for groups but when you are looking for a romantic dinner for 2 you will be suprised what we have to offer, so now it's time for something different!
Friends recommend us to this restaurant, it has a nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. The starters were better than average (scallops) but the rest was all very average. The fish brochette was fine but not special. My husbandâs pork tenderloin was very dry. The starter bread was what you can buy in a grocery store. All to say...I can cook better at home. No need to pay such money for this food. We wonât be back, too bad.

Lovely restaurant with a nice front room in an old typical Dutch house. They have a wood over where they cook delicious oven roasted vegetables. They are specialized in meat which we do not eat, our tuna and salmon were a bit bland but very heathy. Chips were nice and chunky too. The wine by the glass was very little and the smoke of the smokers came inside through an open window right into us, however the owner saw this and closed it. Very friendly and quick service, very rare in the Netherlands.

The restaurant is close to the pedestrian shopping area of Katwijk. It is beautifully decorated and looks very cosy from the outside. Weâve been there on a Friday night around 7pm and would definitely recommend to book a table in advance, every table was occupied. We started off with some very nice, fresh bread with an olive tapenade and herb butter. After that we had 2 appetizers (tuna sashimi and prawns cocktail) and two mains (the grilled tuna and the salmon au gratin), along we ordered two craft beers from their quite extensive beer menu. The tuna in both dishes was of very good quality, the sauces accompanied it well. The prawns were fresh, but tastewise the dish offered nothing special, same with the salmon, which was quite heavily topped with a sauce hollandaise. Unfortunately the greens in the dish disappeared somewhat in the sauce. The waiter was quite taken with the two female guests on the next table, so our service came a bit short, but he was attentive enough not to complain anyway. The whole meal came to 90 EUR, which we found was slightly expensive for what we got.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. Having read rather old reviews, we thought the â¬75 per person menu, matching wines to each dish would suit us. It is not our intention to insult the chef but only one dish was well prepared, The red wine served with it was a mismatch. We left thinking that there was neither flair in the cooking nor intuition when choosing wines to accompany the food. The lovely waitress repeated over and over her "set script" to the diners, who appeared to be tourists as we were. We thought it over priced and very pretentious to the point of discomfort.

Ich have been here auf few years before and they have kept und their Level in anderen touristic environment where the temptation is big to lower your colours to what everybody else is doing there. They offer meals (you choose the number of courses) and the composition is vergessen sophisticated, down to the desserts. Fish, very good choices of meat going with veggies in a very modern and nice way. The advice on the Wine was very helpful, as my choice on the house wine was not to my taste. The aussie replacement was first category.

The entourage is already welcoming and tasteful. We arrived at a restaurant already full except for our table which was roomy and tastefully sparsely set. As part of our arrangement we had a set meal which was already very nice; we added another course while our host suggested some really lovely wines (by the glass) to accompany them all. Everything was really top notch, with great tastes from tuna done in several different ways, followed by Dutch venison in two ways and a great assorted dessert. Everything had the 'patina' of careful preparation and thought. A really enjoyable and unhurried experience.

High class service, topfood served in a fine, relaxed atmosphere. Established in 1997, more than twenty years Leiden's finest!
A great restaurant offering high end food at reasonable prices. We did the â¬80 a head mid week meal not realising that this also included a flight of wines to pair with every course. Water and coffee was complimentary which really gave an overall feeling of exemplary service. Food fantastic and service great and price reasonable. What more can you ask for!Definitely will be going back

Pure ingredients, full of flavor, are key at Suzie's & Van Aken's. "As a Chef and Patissier we work with products whose origin and quality are known to us. Combinations of taste are prepared for you with the utmost precision and attention. Enjoy a culinar
An eight month old hidden jewel worthy of a Michelin Star. The ingredients are real premium . An innovative cuisine yet sublet and flavorful taste, small and very attentive service I could feel the passion in the food preparation if they they keep that passion a flare soon they will be Michelin rated. I enjoyed every bit it of the experience and I would definitely skip any of the nearby rated restaurants to repeat this dinner.

Salt is a new beachfront restaurant in the location of the former Zon en Zeebad. It is owned by the neighbouring five star hotel Huis ter Duin. Food and service are quite upscale, prices are in line with this. I enjoyed a cappuccino and a sandwich eal (broodje paling). Service was quick and professional.
