At the gates of Sarlat, in the calm and tranquility, Dupéliac house offers a warm atmosphere with refined and elegant atmosphere invites you to a chic bistro atmosphere. A modern and attractive architecture, bright spaces and floral garden make this area
Maison Dupeliac sits near a roundabout on the outskirts of Sarlat but donât let that fool you. It is a very fine restaurant to rival anything that the more touristy establishments in the centre of town have to offer. We chose their 45 euro table dâhote menu that offered a starter, main course and dessert. Ravioli starter, filet de boeuf main and a strawberry dessert. All were beautifully presented and delicious. Our waiter was very helpful with the wine selection and couldnât have been more attentive. A top notch restaurant in a modern setting. Highly recommended.

The Restaurant L'Adresse is located in the heart of the medieval city. Offering a varied menu and cooking fresh products.
We arrived with no reservation and they were fully booked but they put a separate tabel for us on the terrace. The food is absolutely delicious and I had the best magret de canard to date. An absolute recommendation!! Will remember the food for a long time

This place is not easy to get to, located in countryside accessible only by car, so no one comes here by chance. There were only a dozen-plus visitors on a Wednesday night. Very friendly service by two people. No a la carte menu; 3 different prix-fixe options. We chose a â¬18 and a â¬26 (both the cheapest and the most expensive). Good traditional meal, not gourmet, but tasty and excellent all around. Goat cheese was an extra course for the more expensive menu. The bill did not show our aperitifs, and when I pointed it out, we were issued a new bill where they were market âoffertâ.

We stayed local the whole trip and noticed this was within walking distance to soleil Plage campsite and la roseraie b&b. We arrived to warm greeting and wonderful view. Set menus available varying prices we went for the middle option and was not disappointed, â¬23 5 courses yum. Will look forward to going again next year we will be back. Great end to fab holiday.

Gourmet experience from beginning to end. We were seated at a beautiful table and served complimentary appetizers. We ordered a 3-course and 4-course dinner, respectively. The Foie Gras was excellent and clearly of high quality. The cod/langoustine quenelles were also cooked to perfection and wonderfully presented, and was my wifeâs tuna. My main meat course was pigeon, also prepared in a creative manner. Both mine and my wifeâs desserts were well balanced and wonderfully arranged. We a two nice half bottles of local wine, a white and a red, both nicely paired with the food. Service was absolutely impeccable and friendly, and the chef/owner came running after us when we left to thank us personally. Highly recommended.

Place of user-friendliness, mixed of wine bar, small restoration and grocer's shop. Trays of delicatessen and craft cheeses and producers accompanied by a wine chosen by yourself in the shop. Wide choice of grocer's shop inside. Le Comptoir du Gout 24 is
After reading local tripadviser reviews we went here for lunch. Wow fantastic Local meats and cheeses explained by the owner, accompanied by great wine. The owner insisted on us trying all 3 red wines before making a decision.... If you eat no where else in Sarlat eat here.

This restaurant is located 5 km north of Sarlat and well worth the drive. It is on a major road and easy to find. After eating duck and foie gras for the past few days and after looking at the many similar menus in the old town, we decided to try something different and are so happy we did. Amazing meal: I donât like eggplant but his amuse bouche of aubergine âpearlsâ with pesto, mozzarella, balsamic was a wonderful combination of flavours. The seafood âsurpriseâ was an artfully plated platter of smoked salmon, perfectly cooked scallops, and seafood tartare with fish roe. The beef with bordelaise sauce was so good my husband wanted to lick the plate. We both thought the beef was better than the beef we recently had at a one star Michelin restaurant a few days ago. My chestnut cream dessert was excellent. The dinner menu (3 courses) for 29E each is an incredible value for this caliber of cooking. The waiter was excellent. The chef was welcoming, friendly, approachable and even showed us his array of specialty spices used to create his dishes. This is a must-do if you are in Sarlat!

You can come to enjoy our cheeses with our slates of tasting and our today's specials, around a glass of wine, a traditional beer or an organic fruit juice. A home and friendly cooking.
I can understand why this nice casual, and relaxed, restaurant ranks highly on Trip Advisor. But, it is not to be compared on same basis as some of the restaurants in town offering fuller menus and wider choice. That said, if you want a truly flavorsome lunch or simple dinner, don't overlook La Cremerie. The day we visited for lunch, the menu of the day offered vegetable samosas and they were superb. And the wine by the glass was excellent. The team that run it have such a friendly, smiling approach too. Check it out. It is not in the heart of the old town, but only a short walk away, and worth making the effort to go there.

My wife and I went in late July 2019 for an evening meal. The restaurant is beautiful. A lovely restored mile with interesting features. The meal was excellent. The beef, medium rare was wonderful. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend this place.

We had a drink here after a very enjoyable walk around this beautiful place. Tables on the outside terrace are perfect for watching the world go by. The pression was good and cold as always and the waiter was friendly and efficient. Whatâs not to like? Recommend.
