We walked around town looking for a lunch spot after visiting the market. We asked for a table and found we had been given the last one as three other groups were turned away after us.We liked wine was available by the glass, carafe and bottle all at reasonable prices for good wines. The bread was excellent, the starters good and the mains very good.Service was friendly and reasonably attentive. We liked the different salad garnish with both starters and mains. Both duck and steak served suitably pink.A good lunch!

Un bon accueil, de la gentillesse, de belles attentions - rares aujourd'hui- , un très bon repas dans la simplicité à un tarif raisonnable. Je recommande et rééditerai l'expérience.

Centrally located across from the Basilica. An extensive menu - although some choices not available that evening. However this did not spoil our enjoyment. Generous helpings of very tasty Middle Eastern food. Prices pretty reasonable and very friendly service. We were lucky to get a table as we arrived early enough on a Friday evening, as the restaurant obviously has a large number of regular local clientele. Would definitely return.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Food is good and different form what we normally have. Probably not a truly French experience but liked by our party which conatined granparents, parents and teenagers.A fair bit away from the main square. (20 minute walk)Thank you ! We are glad that you enjoyed our restaurant and that our choice of menu was unanimous in your group. We hope to see you again very soon during a stay in St Quentin

Travelling through St. Quentin to the Eurotunnel, we wanted somewhere near the park, that served traditional well prepared food in a relaxed atmosphere. Champs Elysees delivered this with style. They were friendly, with possibly the best food and service I can remember receiving in France. The three of us visited on the last night before they closed for two weeks for their August holiday, and they had a big groups of regulars and friends celebrating with them, however this had no effect on the service or food.We had our young son with us, tired after a long car journey, but they made him welcome, and helped us select food for him - which arrived quickly to keep him occupied while we chatted. We didn't sample the wine - they offered a good selected of Belgian beers, which we sampled instead.

We discovered this restaurant by accident a few years ago. It was so great that we went back to Saint Quentin just to visit it again. Really interesting choice of fantastic food, wonderful service, and the staff were great with our kids (2 and 6). One of the best meals we had during our two weeks in France.

Everyone can taste these dishes to the taste of sun, holiday, according to his desires, his appetite, his budget. It is a moment of sharing or being categorized all the generations, all the social origins as in the bars of Barcelona
Just what we needed after a long day of travel. Every dish was delicious, music was great, people were practicing dancing in the back area, service was friendly and the chef came and talked after the meal. merci beaucoupdonner l adresse a nos amis aux plaisir a votre prochain passage

Visited early evening mid week in March. We were lucky as we not made a reservation, 30 minutes later they were full. I guess about 30 covers. Simple but imaginative 2 or 3 course set menu, 4 choices on each. think it was 28 euro for 3 courses, Good short wine list and we picked a Pinot Noir Rose at less than 20 euros and it was excellent. The chef brought the dishes to the table and chatted briefly in English, he wanted to know that we were pleased, we were very pleased. We chose a salad with hot bits of tender lamb sweetbreads? to start (salad de ris d'agneau) with what we think were miniature peppers, that exploded with sweetness. My confit of duck was just as it should be, my wife's fish superb great sauce, meringue glace to finish, This is what we visit France for, a family well run great value restaurant with a personal touch.

We happened upon this restaurant last night and I'm glad we went in.Simple menu. All in French but very friendly and welcoming host explained anything you were unsure of.Had a beautiful smoked salmon, haddock and orange tartare to start which was served under a glass bell cover filled with smoke. Added a bit of flair.Bavette and sautéed potatoes for main. Quality beef and cooked rare as requested. My brother had the octopus and rice, which when served the octopus was like butter it was so tender but because he's a slow eater, by the end had toughened up somewhat. He still very much enjoyed it.Good house white too. Recommended if you are in the area.
