My family and I had lunch here on the way from Lourdes to Toulouse (Saint Gaudens was absolutely dead and this was the only restaurant open)! The menu was very French bistro basic (steak, duck, salad). The chef managed to undercook potatoes to the point that they were raw, buy steaks that were nothing but gristle and make a terrible Caesar salad. It was a very disappointing meal. I'm surprised that this restaurant has received a 4/5 on TripAdvisor - perhaps friends of the patron have left reviews. My husband and I ordered steak and chips, but were instead offered pommes de terres grenailles because the chips had run out(!!). When the dishes arrived the sauce à poivre was more like a salty thin gravy and the potatoes looked magnificent, but weren't cooked. This was also the case with the second batch of potatoes that were brought over to us after we'd complained. The waitress then told us this was how they should be eaten... apparently in Saint Gaudens potatoes are eaten raw! A really disappointing waste of food and bad service... someone needs to tell the waitress that the customer knows best.

Incredible nice 3 course lunch for 13 euro's. Goat cheese salad, tuna as main and creme brûlée as a desert. So French and so delicious.

This is where we stopped for lunch to break our drive. The cafe has quite a quirky feel to it. We had burgers which were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and spoke enough English to get by. Plenty of parking close by.

Greedy journey with touches of the country...The big Southwest is here, who rhymes with gastronomy! Between the Garonne and Pyrenees, between countryside and mountain, all the seasons bring their feelings. The cooking of the leader, inspired by the greedi
Arriving the hotel attached to this restaurant late, the Staff at reception kindly arranged for me to dine there after settling into my room, even though they were just about to close. The restaurant was busy with friendly local diners and the modern décor, gave it a pleasant and welcoming ambiance. Being attached to a hotel however I was not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly, the food was beautifully prepared from fresh produce and the quality very pleasing. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked trout that fell off the bones, quite delicious. Definitely a restaurant worth trying and the wine selection was good too.We thank you for having dedicated a little of your time to write its delicious comments.

Walking in to a restaurant in france at lunch time and finding it empty should have been a warning, but having eaten there years ago and it was excellent we decided to stay. Being the only ones there we had excellent serivce, however the menu was very limited woth no lunch time set menues. The food and wine was reletivly pricing for what it was, as was the wine. My wife had a steak which was huge but when it ca Me to east much of it wss bone and fat, I had noir de bigorre, black pig, it was so fatty I had to leave it. On the plus side the location was very pleasent.

We stopped here en route between Carcassonne and Bayenne. This is a classic French roadside restaurant (more than a cafe) and had stacks of cars parked outside it.Inside the place was busy with Monday lunchtime diners, all having the Menu du Jour. There were other menu options but we did the "when in Rome" thing and followed the locals. For 14euro we had a starter ( a black pudding type sausage) with a rice salad and fresh beetroot. The main course was steak or lamb cutlets. These were huge and freshly cooked over a woodfire, a la BBQ. It was more than we could manage. This came with a copious amount of fries. Various desserts and a 0.25L wine is also included. My wife has Pistachio ice cream (her favourite, so is a bit of a critic) and said it was the most flavoursome, nuttiest, she'd ever had.Service was prompt and friendly. In summary, a great little place. Conveniently situated beside the road that avoided the need to go into town and struggle to park. Good, honest, value for money food.

Cheese shop within the commercial centre anchored by the LeClerc supermarket. Besides an excellent cheese counter they have tables for lunch. We had the cheese platter, comprising 5 different cheeses, together with salad bowl and found this excellent as a midday lunch. The wine we washed it down with was a bit pricey at â¬6 per glass but overall it was a good experience. There is charcuterie as well plus nice looking desserts so it is not all cheese!

We had eaten here several times before .... we think it must have changed hands. A year or two back it was our "go to" in St Gaudens. Now we are trying other options. Food, service and cost were all poor. A shame as the view is so good. Hello . We are disappointed to read your review. Our products are fresh and from the region. We changed chef chef. I ask you to return to taste his kitchen. friendly
