Booked this place on strong recommendation and good reviews and it lived up to expectation. Small place just off the busy and commercialised Place Plumereau and felt more authentic with really nice atmosphere. Really interesting menu that the waiter was very happy to translate. Great food and a very good experience.

This is an unassuming little restaurant a little away from the centre but with top class food and service. The prix fixe lunch menu is extremely reasonably priced and every course was excellent. The host was very welcoming and graciously tolerated our poor French. Book ahead as it is very popular.

My partner and I ate here last night and it was truly wonderful. I can not recommend it enough. Small menu three options for each course but extremely well priced at three courses for twenty euro. We both really enjoyed our meals and would love to return some day in the future. The cute little restaurant had a fantastic ambience and the service was second to none, the two waitresses were wonderful. This place gets very busy though so would definitely recommend booking. We originally wanted to eat here on the Friday night but they didnât have any spare tables. By far the best place out of the three places we ate in Tours!

We were wandering round the streets of Tours on a one day visit looking for a restaurant when we spotted this place down a side street. On a quick check the menu looked spot on and the reviews were good so we gave it a try. The proprietor spoke excellent English and also had a great sense of humour the ran through the place and other staff. The is a simple menu with daily specials. We had good food and good wine served with good humour, whatâs not to like?

This is not the usual restaurant of the central area of Tours where you frequently find small restaurants with small tables. This place is larger and more comfortable. Two dining rooms, tables larger than usual, simple interior decor. The set menu (⬠32) includes a starter, a main course and a dessert. The choice is different from that of other restaurants of the center. I remember a cream of peas with mint and goat cheese, a tartare of salmon with eggs of pike and yuzu, a steak of red tuna on a bed of seasonal vegetables, a very good chocolate dessert. All dishes surprisingly well presented. Service might be slower than expected when the restaurant is full but it is anyway acceptable. Reservation is necessary especially on weekends.

Bar à vin et à manger, avec plus de 50 références de vins au verre autour de planches gourmandes de charcuterie et fromage, de salades généreuse et tartines chaudes et desserts.
We came across this restaurant whilst struggling to find one open on a Monday and we werenât disappointed. Very friendly service and pleasant ambience, delicious plates of food - the Tours rillettes was superb and the melted Camembert was wonderful. Obviously the major hit was the wine served from boxes - yes! We mentioned what we liked then got to try before ordering - so delicious and inexpensive that weâre taking some home! A real treasure and a delightful night out. Thanks a lot Sarah for your comment ! It was a pleasure to welcome you, and really happy you enjoyed so much the "Clot & Fardet" Rosé.You'll remember us at home !Hope you had a safe trip back.

What a warm inviting creperie! Crepes were quintessential French. Had a variety of sweet and savory, gluten free and vegetarian options. They have lovely salads, in season fresh juices, and delicious coffee. The owner and his lovely sister both speak English and are very friendly.

this is a small well run restaurant with daily specials on the wall and an engaging and enthusiastic front of house / waiter . there were 4 of us dining and we had excellent food well prepared and well served - you will need to book as I estimate there are only 20-25 covers.

A thoroughly delightful and slightly bohemian feel small restaurant which delivers handsomely.During our dinner, we appeared to be the only non locals at this obviously popular venue which is slightly hidden off the main boulevard but without doubt worth seeking out.The set menu was reasonable value for the quality.Reservation seem essential but regrettably not available on line which is my only criticism.

We came across this restaurant by chance and were delighted. Absolutely charming decor: a little quirky but not trying too hard, tables set not too close but close enough to give a pleasant ambience. We were greeted and made so welcome. The food was delicious; not too much choice but enough to be intrigued, the lamb was superb and the chocolate dessert was out of this world! Lovely wines too at a reasonable price - would definitely revisit.
