This was one of the few restaurants we could find open in a Monday. We were delighted we went there. It's obviously very popular with locals and the restaurant was very busy, but the service was excellent. We started with a wonderful terrine, then my husband had steak while I had turkey escalope which were both very good. I was delighted to find Isle flottante on the menu while my husband enjoyed a vanilla slice. Amazing value for money and would heartily recommend.

This Fast food outlet takes fast food to another level, the baguette's are made continually on the premises and are a culinary pleasure to taste with many fillings to delight any taste. They also have a selection of fresh Salads, the pastries, well who can make better pastries than the French. the indoor seating is air-conditioned and the comfortable outdoor area seats are upholstered and shaded, to keep the kids occupied there is a bouncy castle. The staff are neat and attentive

Cute little restaurant without air conditioning. The menu offers variety of crepes and salads. The place is run by a staff of 2 (owners?). Don't bother asking for something outside the menu. The waitress reacts violently and unfriendly. Crepes are fine. Nothing to remember. Ingredient does not stand out but it's ok for a crepe.

Ate here last night, as we didn't feel like traveling too far after a long day.Menu is uninspiring, and we should have listened to our gut feel about the place. The decor is pleasant enough, the waitress was very friendly. However the food was very ordinary. Small serves, prawns not fresh, steak came out very rare even though we asked for well done (common problem in France, but one we've managed to overcome in many other establishments). The dessert menu features about 8 choices - except that they're pretty much all ice cream. Not even a creme brulee or other french classic.Bill came to more than the last 4 nights, all of which had better food. So especially considering the price/value relationship - I do NOT recommend this place, unless you have no other options.

We ate here as there was very little open on a Monday evening. It was not good. The mushrooms with cheese were raw and the duck not properly cooked. 2 of the party enjoyed their entrecote steaks. The sauces were not homemade. The restaurant itself is right on a busy road. All in all not an enjoyable experience.

Nous informons notre aimable clientèle que nous serons ouverts les lundis soir du 15 Juillet au 26 Août inclus
We had dinner at Restaurant le 8 mainly because everything else seemed closed for the summer holidays. But it was better than we expected. It was our first meal since arriving in France so we were a bit tentative and the waiter spoke a bit of English and we spoke a bit of French which made it a bit difficult. Went for pate and carpaccio for entree, steak frites and duck tournedos for main and shared a creme brulee for dessert. Pretty conservative choices on our part. All of the dishes were pretty good except for the duck tournedos which were a bit disappointing. Worth a look.

Attended Sur Le Pont for my sister in laws birthday. This is a small but beautifully presented restaurant right next to the bridge in St Aignan. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was very nice indeed from a small menu. Overall a very relaxed but intimate atmosphere.

Great hidden gem. Old wine cellar converted into a cozy comfortable restaurant. Portions are great. Appetizers came with an "all you can eat" format of large terrins and pates.Lots of locals also frequent this place so the place is full of noise and laughter and people having a good time. The food is great, prices very reasonable and the venue is unique! Make sure you call ahead they are only open for dinner a few nights a week.Lots of parking available across the street in a large grassy lot.

L'herberie des 3 Chemins is a tea-room ans also a restaurant. 80% of the products come from the biologically agriculture et everyday we are trying to propose you at least one vegan meal, gluten free or lactose free. Simple but healthy. Come on to rest in
We arrived on a Sunday without reservations. After finding our first choice closed, and a neighboring restaurant full, we approached without much hope. The gentleman who met us at the door, said that they were full, but he could seat us at a small table for two and add an extra chair. We accepted, since we were sure we wouldnât be able to find another restaurant nearby that could seat us. We were glad we did. We would highly recommend this restaurant and also recommend making reservations. This was our first organic restaurant and didnât know what to expect. The drinks were good, a kir (the best Iâve ever had), and organic beer. They offered organic wine but we didnât try it, so I cannot say how it was. Our meals (burgers with fries and salad) were excellent. The pasta was also excellent. Everything was perfectly cooked according to our order. The wait staff checked in with us frequently. As another reviewer noted, they were not a super polished, trained staff, but they more than made up for it with their eagerness to please. I would take that any day. They seemed to enjoy using English, but the menu was only in French. That wasnât a problem for us and Iâm certain they would translate if you needed it.The day was very hot (in the 90s) but the outdoor seating was in the shade at the time we arrived (7:15) and most of the area had umbrellas. The register where you pay was upstairs in the dining room. It was sweltering up there, so I would recommend eating outside on hot days. All in all, this was a great find. Food and service made for an excellent dining experience.

This restaurant is located in the beautiful town of Saint Aignan sur Cher. The restaurant is really nice inside and the service is perfect. High quality food and the plates are prepared by the chef as top restaurant. I would not be surprised if they could get Michelen guide stars. Excellent seafood that we tasted and outstanding desserts. Highly recommended.
