Located on a quaint little side street in 'downtown' Bougival, this restaurant is a delight. The service is kind and attentive, and the food is original and tasty. The little amuse-bouche they served (a savory cookie with an avocado cream & écrivisse) was a pleasure. The lunch menu (entree+plat+dessert) at 19,90⬠is a real deal, given the quality of the food. I had the oeuf mollet with asparagus & I would have preferred the egg to be runny, but to each his own. Everyone at our table had the cod which was perfectly cooked and the accompanying vegetables were exceptional. I had the riz au lait for dessert which was ok, but a little heavy because I had already eaten so much, and so well. I will definitely be back!

You are probably asking yourself why the rating isn't commensurate with the title and quite frankly I was very impressed with the food which is unfortunately not something I can say every day. Great value proposition, nice atmosphere (great open fire in the middle of the restaurant) and the quality and friendliness of the staff was good. That said, the speed of service was so slow that quite frankly it spoiled the whole experience which was a shame. Our lunch experience lasted over 2 hours (starter, main + dessert) !To be very fair, the waitress did offer us our appetitive which was an excellent reflection of the type of restaurant but the speed really did let them down.I will probably give them a second chance based on the quality/taste of the food but am really hoping that they work on the speed as its a shame to see such a great find ruined by something that should be relatively easy to fix.

Beautiful restaurant, well thought through decor with great eye for detail. Great view direction La Defense. Seriously good food, subtle tastes rather than overpowering ones. Friendly, well trained and knowledgeable staff. Just one minus: condensation from the huge pipes overhead dropping on the table, not very nice. No opinion about the price, as I was part of a group, invited by a business partner.

Located in downtown Rueil-Malmaison this newly opened top-tier restaurant offers sophisticated and tasty dishes and desserts prepared by a renowned chef. Service is quick, elegant and friendly. A must visit in Rueil-Malmaison. Booking in advance recommended. If you go without a reservation try to be early: you might get seats at the counter if tables are fully booked (which seems to be the case very often)

Found this restaurant right by the La Chateau bus stop on the corner of the road to Malmaison as lunchtime arrived and what an excellent find it was. The waitresses were very friendly, provided an English menu. The choice was good of both food and drinks. I was blown away by the excellent Sea Bass. The Salmon gourmet plate was also popular. Great place to eat.

It is traditional French cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes in appetizers, entrees and deserts. Guests have the choice of appetizer/entree or entree/desert for 28 euros, or you can choose the 3 courses for 35 euros which I believe was very reasonable for the quality of the food served. The four of us took different dishes and everything was just very good : I took the filet de boeuf which was very tender and the sauce outstanding. It is a small place so I would advise to make reservations. Would certainly go back when in the area.

There is a mot of chances that you can walk in front of this bistrot without noticing it or even never thought about entering this tiny place. Wrong ! The chef makes excellent food, there is a nice terrace when weather allows it, the owner is very welcoming and the waitress, although she is overwhelmed with her work when crowded, always stayed smiling and charming. And Frequented at 99% by Rueil inhabitants called Rueillois. You will pat the price of a village bistrot, which is to say very affordable. Careful it is closed on Mondays and open only for lunches.

We visited this restaurant in St Cloud (Parisian suburb) with friends and were very pleased with our experience. This restaurant is tucked into a corner of the Parc de St Cloud and only opens when the weather is suitable (i.e. it isn't raining / not too cold). It is a set menu with high quality food of French cuisine but the main appeal is the setting and the authentic style. Hardly any tourists visit because the just don't know about it. That means that this place feels like a secret between cool French people - I like that! Definitely worth a visit - a wonderful experience.

We were there for a wedding a few weeks ago. The location is nice, and surroundings pleasant. But service was really poor, the owners had a serious attitude and really did not make the guests welcome. The toilets are narrow and were (very, very, ) dirty throughout the night.
