Light & Modern French Fine Dining, yet with BYO.Could be described as Modern Australian with French influences or Lighter French Cuisine. Quality rather than quantity; starting from the initial bread with lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce, progressing to the ceviche king fish entre & twice cooked pork belly with well balanced accompanying sauce and salad. My partners scallop entre and duck main were also very good. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed décor, with tables not too close together allowing easy conversation without having to raise ones voice. The wine prices are very reasonable, but if you have a favourite bottle of red at home take it with you as will only cost you $10 corkage.Only minor whinges are that steamed vegetables were string beans only and that waiters were slightly on the under attentive side.

Four of us dined here on a groupon deal which included three courses and a cocktail. We all enjoyed our meals, I had escargot, perfectly cooked duck and the cheese plate. It's a very established restaurant with great staff, very popular with tourists. We all agreed we had a great time and would return.

First time visiting this restaurant and certainly won't be the last. Typical French cuisine and staff made this a warm friendly occasion. French onion soup and pate were welcome starters, as were the escargot. Yum! Beef bourguignon was sensational with the meat as tender as can be. A must for lovers of the authentic French experience.

Who would have thought, A french Bistro in traditional Italian area of Sydney. We had been meaning to try this Bistro for quite some time and finally got there.Menu is full of classics. We opened with the onion soup and steak tartare both dishes ticked the box. For mains we had Beef Bourguignon and the Duck Cassoulet. The beef was as expected as was the Duck, however the duck was a bit skimpy on the beans, chorizo and gravy. $9 for a side of veggies was not value for money.Deserts were great and the 3 cheeses we had were ripe and well presented.Service staff were knowledgeable. The restaurant has a nice ambience

Weâve walked past this place many times over the past few months since moving to the area and kept saying we must go in. Well we finally did and whilst my wallet probably thanks me for having waited, my tastebuds do not! Such delicious food from a menu that I think I could easily close my eyes and point to any item on and be happy. Today we had the duck rolls with sweet potato fries, and crepe Suzette for dessert. All of which was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is big enough not to feel too crowded when busy (which it was at 1.30 on a Sunday afternoon) but small enough to feel a little intimate and boutique-y. The staff were all lovely, well presented and polite. Basically itâs everything you want in a local, high quality but not too pricey restaurant. I look forward to returning many times. Welcome to the neighbourhood. Thank you for the review.
