Trattoria La Volta which means 'Italian cuisisne of the past'. With its unique for each of its three restautants, Trattoria La Volta is distinguished by its Exceptional Service and authentic cuisine.
As mentioned in my review of this resto in Repentigny...you get what you pay for.Ok, so this place is not Da Emma or Graziella or even Campagna (here in Ste T),but it still serves well prepared, well served, well presented italian dishes. The prices are affordable and the menu selection is vast, with choices for everyone.Couples, families or groups will all be welcomed on the vast terrace or inside the main dinning rooms. As i read other reviews on this place,i guess i must be lucky because i have never been badly served or eaten a bad dish in this place, and i have been here many times.A major plus is that you bring your own wine...or in some cases..beer, so it should keep the bill low.So again my fellow TA members...this place is a great change from Giorgio's,Boston Pizza,Pacini or Vinnie Gambini.Hi MontrealDuke,Thanks for your great review! Even if it was made last year we really appreciate it. We will share your kind words to our team and wish to serve you soon. Come and visit us!Best regards,Owner

We've now reserved several times at chez Milot for staff meetings and events. They have private rooms for groups. The smaller room has a tv monitor if needed for presentations. They offer pre-set menus that run around $25 per person that is different from the banquet BBQ chicken we're used to getting. The menus normally includes soup, an appetizer, main course (choice of pasta, chicken, beef, fish) and dessert.

Very nice staff, had mashed with steak. potatoes were very salty. Meat was tender and cooked to order. Entree grilled iceberg salad soggy little to no taste of blue cheese. Grilled salad requires a courser leaf (romaine)Potion of meat was small vs price. Meal cost same as Gibby's but much lesser quality.Friend found steak too salty and got into argument with chef over not wanting to refund partially especially since it was returned. Steak can be started over if not cooked to the liking of the client but not the taste. In the end he comped him entirely.Group of 11 was charged more for the serving of cake than cost of cake. Clients who bring own dessert save money for restaurant which has dessert included in the menu de degustation. You don't charge a group who spends $800.

My wife and I visited Le Fin Palais on Saturday night and are happy to recommend this restaurant to other Tripadvisor users. The restaurant is in Bois-des-Filion, a small town north of Montreal, just off autoroute 640, about 10 minutes east of autoroute 15. Located in a converted house it has been operated by the original owners for over 20 years. Decor is pleasant, service friendly and attentive and the food definitely made it worth the trip. The menu offers a variety of dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the aperitif we were given upon being seated through to the dessert and coffee at the end of our meal. While not exactly cheap the meals were excellent value for money and the wine list offered several nice wines at reasonable prices. We highly recommend this restaurant.

. . . my dear Watson. Different in concept and modern in design, the sun-drenched terrace and brightly lit restaurant is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise humdrum world of breakfast options. Recent renovations have given it back some of its former lustre. While they claim to serve one of the best bowls of latté in town, and they do, it is also the most expensive one. It is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee with one of their tasty croissants, maybe one of their many temping sweets, or to linger with friends over a late breakfast. Mind you, a change of menu would be welcome; the current one has done its time, we think. If this review has been helpful, please let me know by clicking on Thank below.

Les Menus Plaisirs is an annual summer getaway and it never disappoints. From the large and extremely comfortable suites to the beautiful patio with it's tranquil fountain surrounded by flowers and foliage. The restaurant is excellent as is the service. You feel like you are in a countryside Auberge in Europe. We will be back!Thank you
