The Restaurant Le Belvedere in Rocamadour is located in the Hotel Le Belvedere, which is part of the Logis de France group of hotels.
So pleased we chose to eat here. The food was spectacular. Fresh & cooked to perfection meat. The vegetables were tasty. It started getting very busy around 8pm so would recommend that you book. We didn't but I think that was more luck. The Rocamadour local goats cheese was very nice and tasty, a great dessert. We will definitely visit Rocamadour again & hopefully next time book a table near the window so we can also enjoy the stunning views!Dear Roseanne20,Thank you so much for your comment! We hope to see you again in Rocamadour!

Fellow Trip Advisor reviewers sold me on idea of this place being the ideal a la fresco dining experience in Rocamadour and they had pitched it absolutely spot on. Great location and excellent food choices, even if you opted for the menu de jour like we did.Being France I decided to opt for my standby fail safe choice, duck breast in a rich sauce and it certainly did not disappoint. In fact everything they served my wife and myself was tasty. The three courses were washed down with a bottle of the local red wine followed by a liqueur and coffee all for in my opinion for a reasonable price of 62â¬, which was more than worth it just for the forest setting alone on that barmy, warm summer's evening in early September.

This place appealed to us mainly because of the menu, though the aspect was attractive too. The galettes appealed to me and my wife was taken by the goats cheese salad - (well, in Rocamador, that makes sense.)The staff were very pleasant, the menu wide and attractive, the prices reasonable, and an intruiging local beer called Ratz. What's not to like?

The restaurant at the Hotel du Chateau offers regional, gastronomic menus ranging from 14 ⬠to 38.50 ⬠As well as an a la carte menu. When the weather permits, meals can be taken on the terrace in the shade of the oaks and the ash trees. The restaurant is
We dined there last night and really enjoyed everything we were given.I ordered lamb and they asked me how I liked it and it was done to perfection and wonderfully tender with a sauce which was unctuous and glossy. Lots of nice vegetables too on the main course and both entrée and dessert very good indeed. Tables set quite far apart which is nice as smokers often ruin our meals and force us inside. They were clearly busy but pleasant and attentive.Dear Madam, Sir,Thank you very much for your kind visit and nice comments about our restaurant.Yours sincerely

It seemed as though most diners were staying at the hotel. We were staying in a cottage nearby and drove over for Sunday dinner after seeing Rocamadour. The waiter, who spoke good English, helped us put together a dinner to share.....2 different entrees, plats and desserts. That was such a good idea since the food was well prepared and interesting to sample everything. The house wine was also very good, the bill was reasonable, and we left smiling.

Hello !
Visiting Rocamador, an incredible cliffside village with amazing sites, we wanted a nice meal at a reasonable price - and we found wonderful food at just â¬15 for three delicious courses! We had Goats Cheese on toast with a tasty Walnut Salad to begin, followed by Tartine Rustique a kind of open Ham and Cheese toastie with Home Fries and salad for my girlfriend, whilst I had the Tartar de Boeuf, which of course is raw steak - it was absolutely delicious, full of flavourings and the Home Fries were some of the best I've ever had.The desserts were Creme Brulee and I had Panacotta colulis Fraise-Basilic, a strawberry and basil topping. Yummy!Great views of the cliffs out of the windows and a no-nonsense decor with some eclectic pop-rock background music made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended in Rocamador!

This is a lovely restaurant , with attentive staff. Good choices on the menu. Only downside their cutlery wasn't that clean and my drink was served in a dirty glass. Food was not that hot when served, I noticed a local man behind me was not too impressed either. Shame as the restaurant was not that busy. Buffet breakfast was very good.

We just fancied a drink late afternoon of a very hot day, and chose a quiet non-touristic looking café/restaurant. The atmosphere and the service were so pleasant that we stayed for dinner, not realising that L'Estanquet is a well-known French restaurant highly rated already. We had a superb "Salade Océane". Highly recommended.

We came across this in lhospitalet overlooking Rocamadour with a fantastic view and reasonably priced fixed cost menu. Food was 3 courses and lovely quality- very tasty . Most of the waiters were accommodating and helped with our English accents and poor french . Because we liked it we visited twice but Iâve scored it down a bit as we get the service was not so good the second time eg cutlery which was used for the starter was tossed if our plate by waiter into our mats even though it was dirty so we could use it for second course. This didnât happen on first visit

We had a great lunch here, at â¬17.00 per head for three courses. We had the assiette de charcuterie and the Rocamadour Quercynois salad to start, followed by Faux filet with French fries, and ended with Tarte Tatin and ice cream. All were delicious, in particular the Tarte Tatin. We also enjoyed a pichet of red wine for â¬6. Would definitely recommend.
