Came here for lunch on a Saturday.Even though it was pretty busy, we got our drinks and lunchmenus quick enough.Food tasted good and looked diverse and semi-healthy. There were a lot of different style choices on the menu.The facilities looked modern and were well maintained.

When we arrived at this medium sized bistro (about 50 seats) we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table.The waiter (Peter) went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We wanted to order wine by the glass and had plenty to choose from against acceptable prices for a decent size glass. Water from the tap for free (that's how it should be!). All our dishes were well prepared and tasted delicious and were nicely decorated and laid out. For 50 euro per person for a three-course meal, accompanied with five glasses of good wine (the desert wines are worthwhile mentioning) we left feeling very happy and will certainly be back soon!

We visited The Erwtenpeller Bistro on the evening of Valentine's Day withjust the two of us. We were received at the door. The decor was warm / cozy with a gas fireplace through which one can see the other part of the restaurant. All tables are arranged so that you can always look out with a view at the busy rivers Merwede, North and Oude Maascoming together and the skyline of the historic city of Dordrecht.The dining experience is beyond that of what you'd normally expect from a bistro. My husband opted for the 3 course Valentine menu (30 euros) and I made my choice from the "normal" three-course menu (34 euros). Possibly we could choose 4 courses. We got an appetizer and fresh bread beforehand. The signs were put up tasteful. The fries were fabulously tasty and there was also a salad. The meat super tender (veal rib-eye and sirloin from the Valentine's menu). Really mature flavor.If I can still give something of criticism: the dessert was very tasty, but for a bistro it may in my opinion have more volume. And one of the waitresses was a bit unsure and uncomfortable about. We assume that it will be fine, because it seems to us inspiring to work in such a fine restaurant.We definitely come back and take over other people it!

It's no so big and they don't have so many tables and that is why the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. The food gorgeous. So far it's one of our michelin restaurants next to La Finca of Susy Diaz in Elche, Spain. We will come back

Good service and a very nice interior. The food is good to as well, and portions are of decent size. The restaurant's interior really caters to a long lazy lunch, or some drinks at a nice summer evening, as the terrace looks over the water and the cocktail list is quite long. De keuken en de zaak is warm gedraaid: het was gewoon goed! Heerlijk gegeten. Een top zaak. Mooi interieur. Een gezellig terras ernaast waar je vooraf of je lunch/diner zelf ook kunt nemen. Bij iedere gang een âplankâ genomen. De zogenaamde Sharing bites. En dan zelf samengesteld van de kaart. M.a.w. alle combiâs kunnen en personeel denkt mee. Goede afwisseling, vers, goed bereid. Leuk om met vrienden of gezin in het midden van de tafel te delen. De Bediening was goed. Wijn erbij prima. Aanrader!

We enjoyed a dinner here that was delicious, Michelin star worthy. Lost track but around 8-9 courses with tasty and beautiful looking dishes, using flowers and herbs. The restaurant is run by a young, very hardworking couple who make you feel very welcome. Recently redecorated the place with nice furniture.

We visited last night with a group of 6, the restaurant is well set out tables are stunning and well spaced leaving enough space that each table has its own privacy. Food was very tasty, service was good and they brought gluten free bread to the table without asking! There was not a problem for any requests. The restaurant has a very interesting was to present their surprise menu! Well worth the visit!

Lovely place, great view. Need some improvement on the food.We had fish & chips, the fish batter was soo thick that it almost look like oliebollen. Not crispy, too thick too soggy. Calamari as well. However I saw alot of people having club sandwiches and salad and portion looks really generous and yummy too. Would go back again. Hope they can improve on the batter.
