I came to Nantes for the weekend for the 4th or 5th time and came to Le Bistro des Enfants. It's absolutely the best restaurant in the area by far. The service is friendly, personalized and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. The food is to die for. Menu changes all the time but amazing every time. A must is the Tarte fine aux pommes, it's made on the spot and when I say wow it's wowser! Love this place

Five minutes drive from Nantes airport . A excellent restaurant , packed to the gunnels for lunch and had a buzzy ambience.Worth finding if you have time or get delayed, or want a nice meal. The fixed price meal had 5 choices , all well presented and filling. The desserts were superb and hit the right spot.

What a truly delightful place. Small but beautifully ambient. Quirky portraits with bird heads on walls. Waitress was adorable. Helpful. Fun. Food best burger I've ever had. All organic. Salad fresh and zingy. Puddings gorgeous. Upside down cheesecake. Beautifully presented. A couple having a meal with their chuahuahua, paws on the table. So French. X was a perfect experience and affordable.

The menu said the steak was "tendre" and it was! Great meal, super service in a restaurant easy to find near to the Place Greslin and the Opera House. Not at the budget end of dining in Nantes but well worth it. Don't be put off by the really small downstairs section as you go in, there's more space up a (steepish) staircase. I'd go back any time. Highly recommended.Thank you very much for a nice review. I hope to receive you on your next visit to Nantes.

The Republic restaurant "Côté Jardin" located on the Ile de Nantes welcomes you every day in a friendly atmosphere, the garden, in the courtyard or in one of the rooms freshly renovated. The dishes offered combine tradition and desire to travel. All delic
Many things are nice about this restaurant. Nice, modern decor. Food is well prepared and tasty although a seafood risotto was amazingly skimpy on seafood and had nothing on the side (vegetable/salad). My merlu (hake) dish was good. Service was polite and professional but unsensitive. Overall, a weak value proposition.

In a lovely restaurant in a side street close to the Cathedral, we found the food to be excellent. I do recommend that you need to like lamb, as the majority of dishes are lamb based. The dishes we ate had a rustic French style which was very pleasant.

I will begin by saying that the food was excellent, well prepared and interesting. It would have been an excellent meal on its own. However, in addition to an excellent meal, we had a tremendous amount of fun. The restaurant is child-oriented without being juvenile. There were families with young children there and the staff were wonderful with them. We were an adult group and we had fun with the toys left on our table (cards, bubbles, books, etc) as we were transported right back to our school years. The service was exceptional with good natured waiters providing impeccable service and humourous repartee. If we lived in Nantes we would be back, and back, and back. Best to make a reservation. We were lucky to get in!

Called in here after visiting the chateau, on a wet day. Welcome atmosphere, friendly staff and 2 x 26cm freshly made pizzas, which were delicious. These were large but you can get a 32cm as well. I had a green side salad to go with it and a soft drink, although alcohol was available. Fast service, considering each pizza is freshly made. Would definitely go here again.
