This place was originally a Belgium Cafe in the old building which has been demolished. The new building is called Odin Place and the same Co opened The Alpinist on the 3rd floor which is a very average pricey French Restaurant. I do miss the old cafe which had great coffee and amazing gallettes. May I suggest that the owners write to Tripadvisor to remove this listing which creates confusion.

Located on the top floor of Odin Place at the center of Hirafu, The Alpinist serves authentic Alpine cuisine, including crepes, galettes, fondue & raclette, whilst showcasing dramatic views of the Annupuri mountain to the crackle of an open fireplace. Ope
Each time we go to NIseko, we are eating a The Alpinist because we love cheees and. this restaurant is smartly mixing french and Hokkaiddo cheese in its menu. The service is good. The restaurant situation is great too. Only few points on which they could work on. it is 5 year since I have tried this restaurant so I feel that despite the good service the restaurant start to be a bit "pushy" to client for spending money.2nd point we have eaten yesterday "une raclette" for 2 where no bread was proposed at all. As a Franc-Comtois, this is a little mistake.Only the soup à l'onion is a joke in the menu but business is business they say.

This is an excellent restaurant in all respects. The dinner is top notch and a little pricey but worth it. They do weekday lunch specials which are excellent value and you would normally pay double for the meals offered including Pork, Salmon, Pasta, Venison or Steak during August, from 1200 JPY, and add 600 to include salad, soup and dessert. There are free flow teas and bread table. It's a lovely venue and staff are professional and discreet. Top notch !

Located on the top floor of One Niseko Resort Towers, Tura is the place to go for delicious food and a fine view of the surrounding countryside. Here you can enjoy seasonal foods under the theme of âContest Between Mountain, River and Seaâ. In particular,
The restaurant features Italian cuisine and is located on the tenth floor of the One Niseko Tower resort.Of course the setting is beautiful even if you donât have a view of the iconic Yotei-san from Tura. (The cigar bar does, however!) But when you take away the view, what remains is the food and the service. In my view, the service is excellent and the food is very good. I turned up without a reservation, and after a few minutes of scrambling they got me a table. (Seems a good idea to reserve!) There are tables right next to the window, tables one away, and then further back, so if you want the nice viewâ¦reserve early and ask for it.There were two âcourseâ meals for 4500 and 6000 yen, both of which sounded great. But since I was eating alone I did not really want to spend a lot of time sitting at the table with no one to talk to so I ordered a Caeser salad and a Pizza Quattro Formaggi. I would rate them both good. The salads were a bit flaccid, otherwise the taste was very good. The croutons were large and hard to cut to size, so I did not care for them. The dressing was fine and there were a couple of slices of prosciutto which were outstanding. The pizzaâs tomato sauce was good but lacked that tang / zest that you get from a really good sauce, and the dough was not doughy enough / too crispy for my taste. The cheeses however were outstanding. The service was super â attentive, caring, and really hustling with a bunch of tables who all arrived within 20 minutes of each other. With all of that, I got my wish, which was a quick dinner in less than sixty minutes despite the crunch of many tables to serve for both the kitchen and the waiters. And I should add that I did not tell them that I was in a hurry / wanted to eat quickly. They just knew it. Nice.Tura is a good choice and I would certainly consider the course meals.

My wife and I treated ourselves to Kamimura for her birthday. The entire experience was superb, from the moment Jack greeted us at the entrance and guided us to our table, chatting charmingly. Wiggy served us, with the right balance of engagement and stay-back. Her description of the complex combinations of ingredients were superb. We went for the wine pairings with the set course, and the sommelier was really great. She had picked very interesting wines, some Japanese ones (watch out for J-wines, they will be great in 10 years). We loved it. The entire restaurant joined my jovially when I burst out into song (happy birthday), as Wiggy set down desert, with a sparkling candle set into the ice cream. Kamimura himself came to say hello at the end, he was charming and deservingly proud of his âproductâ, including his team that delivers the service. Great night
