Family run restaurant with seasonal modern european cuisine and large selection of local and european wines.
Service, menu (70%french-30%czech) , presentation, wine list, taste combinations and...the bill: we were in seventh heaven. Don't forget to try the pavlova as dessert. One of the best we ever had. Off the beaten track but highly recommendable.

This place came recommended to us and we definitely recommend it to you.First you must book - don't take a chance you definitely want in to this place. We had a lovely welcome, service was great, atmosphere was excellent. The food was devine, plenty to choose from and not the normal Prague fare and presentation, a welcome change and worth the money, which was not expensive. We added a nice bottle of wine from their good selection. Can't recommend it enough.

La Rotonde, an elegant restaurant in the Art Deco style and holder of several awards, offers an excellent selection of meals from the international and local traditional cuisine. Our talented chefs are capable of creating a culinary miracle from your dinn
Today we went to La Rotonde for the weekend BBQ, as we got a voucher which we had never had the chance until now to use. We called to ask in advance what types of food there were but the person who answered the phone was not well updated, but despite that we booked our table. You can sit either inside with a/c or outdoor on the terrace as we did, and a bit regretted as it was very hot.Starters consisted of a variety of cold foods such as seared tuna, cold cuts, several carpaccios, salads, shrimp cocktail,... We liked them overall and they were of good quality (4/5).Mains consisted of scallop and prawn skewers, salmon, sea bass, lamp chops, turkey breasts, tomahawk and flank steaks, as sides they served grilled veggies, roast potatoes and grilled pineapple. We enjoyed them quite much, although in our opinion there should have been a sauce for the fishes, which sometimes were a bit bland. Meats were very good and so were the sauces served with (4.5/5).Desserts are normally the food we look most forward to, but this was a huge disappointment. We tried lemon tart with meringue topping, creme brulee, panna cotta, beignet, sorbettos, pernik and brownies. There was not a single dessert which we could not better prepare (we are amateur) , some were overly sweet such as the tart and some extremely dry as the pernik. The creme brulee was missing the characteristic burned sugar on top which you normally crack. We often go to Cukrar Skala and their desserts are from a different planet. On addition, for some reason the table on which they stood had become a lake by 14.00, not very appealing (1/5)We overall think that the brunch is worth what you pay for, the quality of food is overall good, service friendly and very precise and the kids at the BBQ doing a decent job. It is a nice experience I suggest you to try if you are in Prague during the weekend, but just if you come hungry :)

Here, in a place where the atmosphere of old Prague meets the exceptional dishes prepared by our chef, you have the unique chance to try our fine dining kitchen. You can also choose fresh fish either from the ice drift or straight out of the sea aquarium.
I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants that havenât come close to Ungelt. This is my second time in a year and I may eat here again tomorrow night. The flavors and impact on the tongue are beyond extraordinary. My starter today was Yuzu infused tuna and citrus accents. Light and served with crisp water breads it was a delightful tactile treat. My main was a veal and crayfish centered masterpiece with the most impactful broth of intense herb and stock I have ever tasted. I opted for the same desert as last time called white chocolate soup, with the highest quality fruit and a huge cube of white chocolate. Heaven Thank you very much for you beautiful review, it fills us with inspiration and motivation!
