I am not an expert, but after trying out most of the places in Audierne this turned out to be our favorite. No outdoor seating, but a pleasant room with a harbor view worked as well. Extensive menu, very kind and attentive service and great home made chocolate sauce for the sweet crepes. Also a very clean bathroom.

Four of us ate dinner here. Very good menu choice - we had no problems finding something to suit everyone, and the price range was very good indeed. Fish, meat, salads, burgers - all very tasty and well presented. Good choice of wine too, reasonable prices. We were seated upstairs as the kitchen is on that level. We actually found it quite warm and opened a window but other diners closed it. We had our coffee downstairs which was cooler. Delightful old building with lots of character.Very good, friendly, helpful service. We would happily eat here again but sadly had to move on with the tide!Thank you very much. I remember you !

Le Bar Breton provided us with an excellent meal this evening which was also really good value for money. Having spent the last three days in St Malo consuming rather ordinary fare, it was a welcome change to experience authentic French cuisine. We had excellent fillet of sardines which were prepared as a type of course pate/terrine. Really delicious. Had great pollock fish dish and dear husband had duck. Three courses, with a bottle of wine and two ricard to start - all for 70 euros. The staff were also very efficient and pleasant. Definately worth a visit. Thank you for a lovely evening

Very good menu choice. The seafood ragout was fantastic. Not tasted anything like it before. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lunch was relaxing and the cafe gourmand recommended. Seating outside on the road so can be a bit noisy. Lovely port to wander around after lunch.

Excellent Brittany Food right on the seaport of Audierne. But, better book, because of probably few staff in the kitchen, makes it difficult for the Chef to handle too many customers at the same time (About 10 tables). As usual in France, the service is not at the top, what matters most is the great food we had several time at l'Iroise. For those who love Cheese, there is a great choice of +/-50 kinds presented on an impressive bench. The Wine list is extensive, but not cheap.

We stayed in the hotel, and it was satisfactory. But when we had dinner in the restaurant my meal was spectacular. I ordered the chef's special fish; it was sole, and the server boned it on a cart next to the table. I often eat petrale sole in San Francisco, and it is very good, but this one, a much larger sole, was magnificent. The service was somewhat overwhelming for me, but the food was so good that it just about justified the effort of the service. I don't remember the dessert, but it was good too.

We discovered this little crepeie when other restaurants were closed & what a surprise we got. Although quite small, the service & food were excellent. The first time I had a Rocqfourt cheese, honey & nut crepe, the second time, Apple, Chantiily cream & Calvados flambé crepe. Both crepes were crisp on the outside, but soft & gooey in the middle. Very, very yummy.Go and enjoy.

Audierne is one of the prettiest harbour towns in Brittany, and you can't get a much more Breton experience than a lunch of crepes right by the fishing port! The owner is delightful, charming and welcoming, the taste combinations will leave you needing to come back to try some of the ones you didn't have room for first time around!

Travelers in Finistere should not miss Pont Croix, and while there will find nice service and delicious crepes at L'Epoke. My main (de Ble Noir) was Le Big Breizh, a humorous takeoff on a hamburger. Fun and tasty, though I would go for something more traditional next time. My dessert crepe (au Froment) was a truly outstanding combination of poire, chocolat et chantilly. Lovely.
