We dropped into La Calorge on a wet Saturday lunchtime, passing through the town. We enjoyed the plat du jour - guineafowl with mashed potato and vegetables - great stuff, cooked with love. The damson tart and lemon meringue were also delicious. This place is low on choice, high on value. Genuine food with a friendly welcome.

Une adresse à garder sous le coude... et il vaut mieux réserver pour s'assurer d'avoir une table! Une cuisine familiale et des bons petits plats que l'on aime retrouver!

We've read the reviews on tripadvisor and decided to go here for lunch on our way to Nance, and it was no mistake. The restaurant is devided in two rooms with different decors. We were in at about 12:10 and by 13:00 almost the whole place was full, and it was a tuesday ! Service was very good and quick, but the main reason to go here is the food, which is outstanding.I will definetely return.

This is a very nice place if you want some nice food in a warm atmosphere. Really friendly people and delicious food. We had fish and beef, nice cheese and a wonderful tarte for desert. Dogs are welcome and there is a nice little terrace at the back. Would definetly go there again.

Best foie gras poelé ever. Lovely roast pidgeon and lamb that tasted like lamb and was tender as butter. Chef present in the restaurant and everyone really makes an effort. BUT: why on earth do they spoil the meal with bread that is tasteless and reminds you of something you get from the freezer. And vegetables were overcooked like in the good old days in Britain. These little faults should be quite easy to correct and would make sure you come back to the restaurant.

A few weeks ago we visited this restaurant with 32 students from the Netherlands! The manager came outside to welcome us at his restaurant and he and his staff were very friendly and professional. The food and drinks were really good, many people of the group told me this in person afterwards! We also had a couple of vegetarians with us and it was not a problem for the restaurant to make a dish without meat. This dish was unfortunately not for everyone at his/her taste, so maybe this is something the restaurant can improve in. It was also confusing that the restaurant has changed it name and looks, but the old website is still online and showing on Google Maps. Because of this we were not sure if we were at the right place and also the menu was different than we found online. I highly recommend the manager to take this website offline or change it to the current name and menu. Overall we had a very pleasant visit and I think that some of our people will definitely come dine again if they are ever in Pont-a-Mousson again. Thank you!

One waiter was rude, ignoring every thank you and seemed annoyed with any question. Another spilled glasses on the table on 3! occasions. And the food is only average. It's edible but nothing more.

Since 2000, Philippe , Florence and their team welcome you and offer you their different specialties and local produce . Rediscover the pleasure of the kitchen of our Grandmothers , through simple but delicious food , prepared with great care and passion.
Small restaurant in a small town on our way to Nancy. Stopped by chance to grab some lunch...and we had this lovely surprise. We obviously had no reservation, but the welcoming staff just found a perfect little table. Food was great, service always with a smile, we enjoyed also a good "caffe gourmand"...and hop we left!

We arrived without booking which was no problem and within half an hour the restaurant was full with a great atmosphere. The food was served with generous portions and was perfectly cooked and presented. When we came to pay our server explained that the coffees were 'on her' which was a nice touch as she had looked after us very well throughout the evening. We had two pasta dishes which were as good as any we have tasted in Italy! We shall return.
