I have to admit we really have enjoyed this restaurant. A small place inside with smart design with a generally relaxed feel and vibe. As we were a larger group we had the chance to try many things. All the appetizers were great especially the duck tartar with foie gras and the crab. Very nice john dory and beef filet. Enjoyable sword fish. The deserts were all outstanding perhaps the chocolate foundant topping the list. Service is not only efficient but very pleasant with smiling, caring people.Congrats to the chef and all the staff. It was a real delight. Excellent value. I do not know how they do it. Deserves the Michelin star

Really well cooked, flavoursome food. Menu was a tad confusing at first (we cant speak/read french to well) however there were lots of great options and the set menus gave lots to chose from. Kind waiters gave good service. Best dinner experience of the holiday so far!

Sunday lunch with friends. Place looked good so we went in. All four of us chose a set menu and it all started so well with a lovely seafood starter. The main however was a real disappointment. Caubillard, over cooked and under seasoned, served on some cold, watery French beans, some bulots and a slice of baked potato. In their favor though was the concern they showed for our dissatisfaction. They offered us some extra wine 'on the house' and were most apologetic.Puts were fine. House wine agreeable. Would go back though just to see if we were unlucky on the day!

L'effet Jardin , restaurant atypique , noyé dans la végétation, l'établissement vous offre un climat de vacances, plutôt Zen! La carte à base de produits frais sélectionnés de la région, une cuisine méditerranéenne et une carte des vins variés! Profitez d
I've been to this improbable (due to its location) restaurant several times, but usually for lunch. The terrasse is lovely and the food and service have always been good, at a reasonable price. Last night my husband and I sat outside for dinner and each had the 29⬠three-course menu. We were very happy with our starters, a tomato tartare with basil and a chèvre sorbet for me and gorgeous mussels in a persillade for monsieur. We both ordered the seiches à la plancha for the main course, and when we asked how they were served (in large, tender steaks), they were more than happy to have the chef slice them into strips as we prefer. The seiches and the side dishes were very good. The only disappointment for me was the profiterolles for dessert (the choux pastry was not fresh), but my date like the lemon mousse over crumble that he'd ordered. The waiter had selected a dry white wine for us, which was perfect (forgot the name, sorry).

I had their three course dinner. My first course was a courgette nest, a bit cold as it was straight from the fridge. The main course was delicious, steamed Sea Bass with French butter sauce. Good white wine.

This is a really disappointing review to write: Our food was very good, our waitress very friendly but it wasnât a good experience and I couldnât recommend La Plancha to others. It took about an hour to get food, not much less to get served a bottle of wine. At the end of the meal I went to pay inside and was confronted with table after table of dirty crockery and cutlery - never a sign of a well run restaurant! The food itself? Main courses were very good - simple but good. We had a range of brochettes and all were well cooked and tasty. The chips and vegetables accompaniments were also good. The kids went for the chocolate cake after that - but clearly that is bought in, served cold and doesnât get the same love and attention as the main course. We also had a mixed starter - I wouldnât recommend it, all perfectly ok but expensive for what it is.Overall we werenât well looked after and that plus a very long wait for service made for a disappointing evening

I visited while on a business trip. The food was excellent. I had the sea bass which was served with rice and their signature vegetables - like a ratatouille. It was excellent. I really enjoyed it. The place is not overly fancy but the food is terrific. thank you see you

Le Mazerand is one of the best restaurant near Montpellier... The service is wonderful, the food is fantastic, and during the summer time you can have some meals on the outside patio.Prices are above than average but worth the quality of the food and service.
