We came to this small town to view the pre-battle bivouac site for "following Grandpa's WWII footsteps". Since this coincided with lunch time, I googled restaurants for Beyren-les-Sierck and located this one restaurant. We went there only to realize that everyone (staff, cook, diners) spoke French only. So... my husband harkened back to high school French and we set about having lunch. Our language limitation led us to following the waitresses gesture to the chalkboard with today's special. We understood salad with beef, some other kind of beef dish, and a dessert listing. We said fine and "chose" the salad with beef. A small plate with fresh greens and thin sliced cold beef came with baguettes. Everything tasted great but the serving was rather small. So, I indicated that I'd like the apple dessert... that's when the waitress got a quizzical look on her face, smiled and said "No, no, no..." Then she went into the kitchen and returned with a beef short rib meal with vegetables and small potatoes. Now we understood! Lunch is the main meal and the cold plate was the appetizer! After totally enjoying the succulent meal with a glass of local wine, we had a coffee with the apple tart dessert. What an experience! I'm sure they are still shaking their heads and laughing about those silly Americans :)

The hotel is just amazing, the terrace is perfect for enjoying a nice bottle late afternoon. The shop has the best foie gros, canard, pork loin and other products! Really top quality products raised right here. The restaurant is ok. Nothing to complain about. But the hotel and the shop are the best, well worth the trip

This restaurant is very conveniently situated on the main street, and we were lured in by the advertised menu of 11⬠menu lunch (buffet entrées and main, or main and dessert). We were instantly greeted and seated despite a busy lunch room, and never had to wait too long for the menu, drinks or our food to be served up.We came in for a bite, and stayed for the ambiance. The food was remarkable, of course. I took the buffet entrées, which were salads and various terrines, which I later learned were all made in-house by the chef. The bread that accompanied our food was also baked in-house. I had an omelette and my partner took the tartiflette, both of which filled us up and we struggled to finish even half of the fries that came with my omelette. My partner took the tart of the day, quince, served with fresh cream, and proclaimed it was the best tart he has had in ages.In the restaurant were pieces of art on display, available for purchase. There were some stunning pieces, but they were quite pricey. Also available for purchase were fresh eggs and flour sourced from a nearby farm, all the ingredients used in the kitchen. They also sold the terrines and breads we tasted in our meals for takeaway, and wine from the vineyards we saw en route. Then we noticed that the restaurant strongly prides itself in using seasonal and local products. According to our tastebuds, we had nothing but the best and freshest. The restaurant owner was really friendly, and as we really made ourselves comfortable; we were the last customers to leave. Instead of being rushed out, she chatted with us and shared some very useful local knowledge. We will definitely be back, for it was the best omelette Iâve ever eaten, and for that price and service, too bad we donât live any closer for regular visits.

I have been there for the second time already, and I will certainly go back. I can only recommand this good address. We had an excellent lunch. A pleasure for adults, but this restaurant also takes care of children : there is a nice little menu for them (10,- Euros), including a beautiful healthy dessert (made of fresh fruits).Everyone was very nice there and the atmosphere is very cosy/familial. Indeed it's better to bring some time with you, but if choose this restaurant, you certainly want to enjoy a nice meal, and not go for fast food, so take your time and enjoy !

Victors is a top level culinary experience. The food is innovative and creative with a constant focus on taste as well as the visual impression. A dinner at Victors is an experience that should be repeated with certain intervals to remind yourself how good it can get if you really try.

We chose this restaurant because of reviews in Tripadvisor and were right. We loved everything about this restaurant starting with unintrusive but very helpful and caring waiter, very well-thought interior where you feel at ease but at the same time special, and ending with amazing food. We both chose menu decouverte and enjoyed every dish in it. Every plate is so special, the aroma simply knock you out. I am very picky, in other circumstances I would never try to eat the neck or kidneys of the veal, but there... I ate them with great pleasure. Could not believe myself. All dishes in the menu are well orchestrated and served with different wine to go with. You don't have to bother about wine to choose. It was not the cheapest supper in my life, but every cent was worth it. We will surely return for another special occasion.

The chef at Le K, has plenty of reasons to be proud as we found the menu offered to boast some truly great dishes that focused on local specialties but with a modern spin. Of particular note, I found the foie gras to be utterly decadent and lovely, while the chef deserves high marks for the plating style. We also loved the perfectly cooked steak and duck at our table....all of which were indeed very nice lean cuts. The only complaint, and a minor one at that, was that all of our plates were severely lacking in vegetables, which in turn led to us being a bit overly full by the end. I should however also note the warm setting, creative amuse bouche, and knowledgeable sommelier all made the evening rather magical....not to mention the great wine and whisky selection that was most impressive honestly. As such, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the area as it certainly does stand out from everywhere else in the areaDear Confused_ExpatHanoi,We really would like to thank you for this lovely feedback about our restaurant. Our team feel very proud to read such a nice comment.Hoping to see you again.Sincerely,Le Domaine de la Klauss.

It is worth a trip to the little wine village of Remerchen just to visit this restaurant. It is suprisingly large inside and has a beautiful garden seating outdoors during the summer. The menu and the wine list are posted on blackboards throughout the restaurant. They offer quite an impressive array of dishes, mostly french cuisine or Luxembourg specialties. They offer over a dozen wines by the glass including local vinyards and french wines. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. Not gourmet food, but good to excellent food and excellent wines. Friendly service.
