Last Saturday we visited the Fair in Noordwijk. At the end of the day we landed on the veranda of ât Hof van Holland, a restaurant that has recently re-opened with a re-furbished interior. The refurbishment has been nicely done and provides an upmarket atmosphere. We met with friends on the veranda for a couple of drinks. Due to the Fair it was fairly busy and staff was not up to the number of costumers, neither was the bar. Unfortunately we had to return drinks three times because they were not up to standard. Initially we had to pay for the drinks in advance. That system was left in the second round of drinks and lead to confusion later on. How difficult is it to keep score with the digital support the staff was equipped with.Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable afternoon and decided to stay for diner. We had Bavette for main course. We had to order French Fries to complement the main course at extra cost. We ordered 3 medium and one medium to red Bavette. All were served as medium to rear. It was the excellent quality of the meat that kept us shut not the skills of the chef. We finished our diner in the good and enjoyable company of our friends. As said this establishment has a long way to go to with staff not up to their task.

This lovely restaurant, in the town of Noordwijk, is under new management since September 2017. It is run by a husband and wife team with lots of experience in the restaurant business and in the Noordwijk area. They have done a great job with the restaurant and put their heart and soul into its running. The service is excellent and we loved the food. Nothing is too much trouble and they try to accommodate all special requests. Customers are following the new team from their previous restaurants and I am not surprised. On a very cold evening in February, the place was full and it was a lovely atmosphere.

Ich have been here auf few years before and they have kept und their Level in anderen touristic environment where the temptation is big to lower your colours to what everybody else is doing there. They offer meals (you choose the number of courses) and the composition is vergessen sophisticated, down to the desserts. Fish, very good choices of meat going with veggies in a very modern and nice way. The advice on the Wine was very helpful, as my choice on the house wine was not to my taste. The aussie replacement was first category.

Salt is a new beachfront restaurant in the location of the former Zon en Zeebad. It is owned by the neighbouring five star hotel Huis ter Duin. Food and service are quite upscale, prices are in line with this. I enjoyed a cappuccino and a sandwich eal (broodje paling). Service was quick and professional.

Forget Bloemendaal, St. Tropez and Marbella; this summer, Noordwijk is the place to be! Beachclub O. is THE beachclub with all prerequisites for an enjoyable and relaxing lunch, dinner, bites and bubbles.
Too bad we were here when the weather was awful. I know this place truly shines when the temperatures rise. Located on the beach in front of the grandieur Hotels van Oranje. If you sleep there, defitnatly make the small trip towards Beachclub O. Oysters were fresh and cocktails were neat. If you like them posh and fancy, go to O. Will come back when around.

I taught this was supposed to be the best restaurant in Hotel van Oranje but maybe we had our expectations up too high after restaurant Oriento. We took a four course Asparagus menu. Unfortunately they completely messed up the first course, the second course was not really our taste, the main course and desert were really good luckily. I should say I give them credit for admitting that they forget some of the ingredients in the first course but still they did nothing to make it good. I have enjoyed better menus for 150⬠(for 2 inclusive wine and apero). We left the restaurant slightly disappointed. Service here was good as well but not as good as in Oriento. I cannot recommend this restaurant.Fun thing about this restaurant is that many dishes seem to be prepared next to your table, unfortunately none of the asparagus menu.Dear Country_hopper99,Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately, the evening is not as you expected. I hope you come back and we can meet up to your expectation. The feedback given the dishes I will discuss with the chef.Warm regards,Evelien Jongert

Latour is a well-established culinary institution having one Michelin star awarded as of 2005.The interior is stylish in a classical way with ample room between the tables to ensure privacy which is a rarity these days. We chose the epic 7 course menu with a bottle of the excellent Meursault 'Les Narvaux' 2015 as recommended by the sommelier. The amuse-bouches were nice without making much of an impact. Much more convincing was the wonderful starter of the pickled fish & horseradish. I was not really taken by the beef tartare with ox tongue, but the trout & tiger prawn was pleasant, so was the precisely prepared (what I thought was..) halibut. The main course of duck breast was good only to be distorted by the salty fried pastry. The 'double dessert' of firstly yuzu and secondly Jerusalem artichoke were fine pieces of art.Service was correct overall although the younger staff could pay more attention to courtesy. The bill for two including mineral water came to 300 EUR. That is no bargain by any standard, but with a more modest wine and less copious 5 courses, the typical bill would be around 240 EUR.Last but not least; the piano playing gentleman deserves a special mention. His joyful play gave that extra cachet to the evening.

Restaurant Iets Anders is open daily, we offer a great menu in French bistro style and we are available for groups but when you are looking for a romantic dinner for 2 you will be suprised what we have to offer, so now it's time for something different!
Friends recommend us to this restaurant, it has a nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. The starters were better than average (scallops) but the rest was all very average. The fish brochette was fine but not special. My husbandâs pork tenderloin was very dry. The starter bread was what you can buy in a grocery store. All to say...I can cook better at home. No need to pay such money for this food. We wonât be back, too bad.
