We had a lovely dinner of three courses at a fixed price which was quite reasonable. Although choices on the price fixed are more limited we were able to find something to our liking. Everything was well prepared, delicious and presented with charm and style.

This wonderful restaurant is right in the main square of Gordes. Try to sit on the patio so you can watch the activity in the village. The service is wonderful. The menu is large, as are the portions. We ate here twice because it was so amazing. The first time I had the salad covered with roasted vegetables - eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, sundries tomatoes and cheese. My husband had a salad covered with cherry tomatoes, cheese, hard boiled eggs, and bacon. All with a carafe of rose and basket of bread and we were stuffed. The second visit we had pasta with roasted vegetables, pasta carbonara that was covered with large pieces of bacon and a delicious pizza. This is definitely a great place for lunch and you might not need dinner after eating here.

If you are in the Luberon and looking for Michelin Star quality, highly recommend this place. Very formal service, with great food and ambience. This was third trip here, and we will be back

We found this little gem by accident roaming the quiet alleys of Gordes. Unlike the more expensive Gordes restaurants with views this little 10 table oasis (inside and out) offers perfectly portioned mains with a dessert for under 20â¬. We had 4 of the 6 choices: I had the Burrata and the teens had the Penne Pesto and my wife had the Thai chicken and noodles. All were delicious and full of fresh locally sourced produce. The Foie Gras Burger looked literally to die for. The chocolate volcano cake and panna cotta were delicious.

It was a hot July afternoon and had an early dinner. The staff were super friendly and had great communication without speaking English. The local wines were great. We had a quick bite in mind and ended up staying there for hours. Highly recommended

After a hot summerâs day, what better way to unwind and take refreshment, than to sit in a shaded terrace sipping chilled rosé and enjoying the view of vineyards and fields.Service is friendly, prompt and multi-lingual. Bistrot-style food, so nothing special here, but large and attractive serves.My entrecôte was quite thin and a little tough, but I enjoyed the flavour provided by a generous sprinkling of herbs de Provence. Diners around me also seemed to be enjoying their meals.

We were in Murs recently, before the tourism season hits its peak. I don't know what it's be like in August, but in early June it's a sleepy, quiet place, with nice people and a pleasant calming atmosphere. The centre of the village revolves around the hotel and restaurant Le Crillon.We arrived in the late afternoon, and wanted nothing more than a cold pastisse and a nice meal. We got both at Le Crillon. The dining room is well appointed, and the service is friendly and not over-bearing. We tried several dishes, including the veal Rossini and the pigeon, and they were all well-prepared, with a mixture of tastes that went well with the local wines recommended by our waiter. That he happened to be the hotel owner, as well, is an indication of the dedication and hospitality that we experienced.The next day, after a full day's journey to the lovely perched villages of the Luberon, we decided there was nothing we wanted more than another taste of Le Crillon. That second night was great as well, and topped off by a perfectly realised souffle. Le Crillon is not a budget eatery, but we found the mix of elegance, quality, and taste to be value for money.

Great restaurant, everything is made fresh. We had the foie gras and the salmon with leeks for appetizer, and amazing sea scallops cooked to perfection. Staying in Le Phebus we couldnât miss its picturesque view restaurant. It attracts both in-house guests (like us) and outsiders. Led by Chef Xavier Mathieu, the restaurant offers creatively rethought region cuisine. We were delighted with the service and the staff - prompt, attentive, friendly. All tables occupied, magnificent views, relaxed ambiance. None of us four accepted the Chefâs food conception as it was presented. He claims that itâs a âforgotten classicsâ. Maybe. Pesto soup, soufflé dessert were quite ordinary. Combination of prawns and foie gras in the chefâs signature starters list turned to be a disaster - delicate raw red prawns taste was overwhelmingly drowned out by strong foie gras. The mains (fish and lamb) did not impress, and since two days we cannot recall what exactly we ate. If they got a Michelin star, itâs a misconception.
