Excellent food, well presented and reasonably priced. The restaurant is quite small, but the owners serve up really nice dishes from a tiny kitchen. Really friendly and welcoming. 3 course menu for â¬29. Hand written bills!

You might easily walk past this restaurant but it is quite informal and welcoming within (better than it looks on the website). We had the five course Menu d'ichite at â¬35, starting with an amuse bouche, followed by perfectly cooked tempura de langoustines aux parfums d'ici et d'ailleurs, accompanied by an absolutely delicious mayonnaise. Another diner had profiterole d'escargots au camembert et pommeau for a starter. This was followed by a house sorbet, with Calvados apple jelly (le fameux trou normand), a main course of filet de boeuf au camembert rôti et sa crème au calvados (the fillet steak properly cooked blue), or magret de canard aux saveurs du Périgord (although marginally over-coooked, with a slice of foie-gras and a delicious sauce). Then a choice from six local cheeses (some could have been a little riper), followed by dessert: an excellent soufflé glacé Bénédictine et chocolat blanc and a lovely tarte sablée abricot pistache (with apricots and pitachios, not too sweet). With a good bottle of Crochet Sancerre rouge, plus pastis and Kir Normand to start, the bill came to a very reasonable â¬151 for three. Excellent friendly service. A very enjoyable relaxed meal. At this price it's five star.

it's a bit too obvious that they need to sell as much as possible (an aperitive? a beer? oh, only water ... a starter? no starter .. a dessert maybe? no dessert ... ah, but you'll surely take a coffee?)That's pretty much a turnoff for me.Other than that, the staff is friendly and helpful;The food was average. I haf a tuna steak, and it was way overdone, they didn't ask how to cook it, i expected it still to be nicely red on the inside, but it was totally cooked. The vegetables were not crispy at all.

Nous sommes venus à 4, pour avec une petite fille de 2ans, nous avions bien pris ssoins de le dire à la réservation et d être là à partir 19h15 ...bref malgré avoir pris plat du jour ou grillade nous avons mangé à 20h...45 mn d attente donc franchement n y allez pas, car même du fait maison on trouve plus rapide...et la salle ...les photos parlent d elles même ..le rangement c est possible ...

Not what you would expect in a big garden shop, but with a nice outside terrace serving some surprisingly good and fresh food. Service was excellent and fast, and not so expensive.

accueil très sympathique,familial.terrasse extérieure.2 plats du jour au choix (pour les gens difficiles !!!!!) reste hamburger ou steak.J'ai eu de la chance pas le jour du poisson !!!filet mignon excellent ,dommage assiette tiède.Bon rapport qualité prix.

We reden de afrit voorbij en met tegenzin terug gereden.... nu is deze omweg het wel zeker waard. Hartelijke ontvangst, beleefd en een goeie uitleg. Het eten was overheerlijk. Geen te grote porties maar fijne en verse ingrediënten. Alles is huisgemaakt. Een unieke eetgelegenheid. Zeker aan te raden...

Nice food like to try other dishes there would have liked to see more of the food writing in English!But enjoyed what we had and plus the sun at the back of the restaurant was on us what more can you ask!

Gosh - at the best of times French cuisine can flatter to deceive. This place gave it to you straight between the eyes. Yesterdayâs chips served with a sparrowâs arse of a chicken breast fried to its pitiful death and served in a teaspoonful of nondescript sauce. Surely a yardstick for not giving a **** about your customer
