We were stuck in Charleroi and this place cheered us up. Spent a while roaming the very badly lit streets passing seedy looking burger joints and then found this surprise. Great welcome, attention and most importantly, great food. Definitely recommended.

On y respire !!! A vérifier !

This place has a wonderful selection of wines. Philippe and Christian are very knowledgeable and will gladly help you pick out wines to your specific taste. The atmosphere and ambience are great and Philippe will entertain you with his great wit and sense of humor.

A chance meal at this charming restaurant that served excellent food. We had a range of tagliatelle (mushroom - salmon - seafood ) and it was delicious. The best Iâve had for a long time. Tasty and not tight on the ingredients. The service was excellent too. Nothing was too much trouble and the waiter, in his very jazzy white glasses, explained all the items on the menu and even treated us to lemonchello shots. Brilliant evening. Totally recommend.

We came with local relatives for lunch today. We were truly impressed and pleased. Everything was done to perfection! Top quality of ingredients. Really fresh and lovely. Wonderful flavors. The decor is also elegant. Professional service. The chef came out to greet us. It's much better than many of the restaurants we tried in Brussels.

Family restaurant open in 2013 of French and Italian cuisine 25 different pastas and sauces that change according to the seasons We make a good part of our pasta with our hands, eggs and flour Friendly and family spirit Remember to book!
We had been recommended that place and that was way above all of our expectations. We spent the whole evening with a couple of friends. We ordered the pasta festival as we were interested to taste based on the chief's choice. Actually, this festival comes with 3 plates one after each with your selection, leaving you really time to appreciate, digest and move on to the next. This was so good that we added a 4th plate, then a 5th plate,... And we ended there. Well we kept going with a festival of desserts for our wife's while we had some cheese. Just amazing !!! Even the wines were really well selected from the waiter's proposal. Really everything perfect. Certainly a do it gain for us, and to recommend for any pasta lovers.

Located outside the center, the restaurant is very accessible by car. We took the lunch and received for a very fair price appetizers, an entrée, main dish and dessert. All very good quality and with fresh ingredients. The service was as it should be, we felt at ease. Also due to the spacious and agreeable atmosphere. We' ll probably go back to this restaurant once the weather permits again to enjoy their terrace.

I tried the cooking of L'Eveil des Sens at Culinaria Brussels and was so impressed I decided to drive to 100 Km to get there and have lunch. Well done, it was definitely worth the effort. The interiors are nice, just a bit anodyne. Service is perfect, kind, attentive and discreet. And then the food: I had a set menu and there were some 4 amouse-bouche, one entree, one main course and a dessert. I had not a single reason to complain, all perfectly presented and cooked, creative, innovative and often surprising. This is modernist cuisine declined into a mix of spice and French tradition. With an great mastery of technique. One small disappointment, the wine pairing offered by the house: the matching was acceptable, but the wine itself was not up to the standard of the food. There are unusual matching of contrasting flavours, and you might not be a real fan of the rosemary apricot or the parmesan creme brulee with apple espuma, but they certainly make sense and are the clear result of research rather than the simple strive for surprising.

The family went together to this very good restaurant for a birthday lunch on a Saturday.Their specialties are meat and fish from the grill (au feu de bois). All dishes were very tasty! They have a nice menu, both for starters and main courses. Something for every taste. Service is friendly and efficient. Also their wines are very good and reasonably priced. I liked the Primitivo very much (see picture). You will not have a parking problem. A lot of space behind the building! For sure, the family will go back to this restaurant.

I went to l'Aptit on a Saturday night. I booked a table just a few hours before without any problem. The restaurant is small and cozy. I don't really like the table setting and the lights but it's a matter of personal taste I guess. Don't expect a big menu because you won't find it there and I really liked that each time you taste the chef's suggestions! The waiter was friendly but unfortunately we were a bit late and he kindly told us that our only option was a 3 courses meal instead of the 5 courses meal that was in the menu. The food was amazing, the meat and the vegetables perfectly cooked and all the plates looked great! We had an Australian wine that we appreciated although the wine list could be improved in my opinion. The only thing that bothered me is that the maitre pointed each ingredient while explaining the plates putting his hand way to close and I found it a bit weird. Apart from that detail (that could be easily improved!) I had a really great experience and I recommend it! Next time I hope the chef will stay a bit longer at the table to ask him some questions!
