Great efficient service, good food and friendly. Previous owners of the famous Bergerie which closed two years ago are now running this restaurant in the same style. Sunny terrace right next to the slopes and easily accessible for everyone. Well worth the visit

This is a little treasure. Staff were so welcoming, professional and friendly. Super cool place with delicious food and an amazing deli where you can buy yummy cheese and cured meats to take away with you. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Anova Hotel and ate mainly in the restaurant alternating between lunch and dinner during our week long stay. Both lunch and dinner menus had plenty of choices ranging from simple courses to high quality 'posh nosh'. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent, well informed and friendly.

The Graal café, joined with the hotel, has a prime location. Open all year round Le Graal is the "hub" of the village. Meaning "The Holy Grail" is open everyday during the summer and winter seasons. During the winter the doors are open from 07h00 until 01
We had lunch at Le Graal Cafe with a group of 7 yesterday. The service was great and we got a table in 2 minutes during their busy lunch time. All of our meals were very tasty, including burgers, lamb and squid. They even had a quality IPA on tap. A perfect place for lunch on a sunny terrace overlooking the mountain!

Based on reviews, I booked this restaurant last week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with my family including 3 young adult children. I called in to make the reservation and told the monsieur that it was a very special occasion. on arrival, we were left standing for 5 minutes at the door,as the manager chatted to guests at another table. Throughout the evening, we got the impression that we were an inconvenience to the manager, who was very overworked. he was the only person on the floor despite the restaurant being full. no mention was made of our anniversary. We never received one smile throughout the night. at the end of the evening we requested the bill. after 20 minutes waiting, my children left, bored. 20 minutes and 2 further requests for the bill later, I stood up and put on my coat. At last Monsieur arrived to us with his book in hand to tell us that our friends had called earlier to pay the bill as a gift for our anniversary. Why did he not tell us that when we asked for the bill originally? why no smile, no word of congratulations? I left the restaurant incensed. the food was fine but the atmosphere was awful. I spoke polite French throughout, but Monsieur made no effort to be friendly. what was meant to be a memorable night was memorable for the wrong reasons. I have been to Montgenevre many times and will continue to go winter and summer but I will not be returning to Maison de Claire.

10 of us ate the set menu (20 euros for 3 courses) and all of us thoroughly enjoyed every course which was plentiful and tasty. The restaurant itself was cosy with a good atmosphere and Sam the waiter was very tentative to all our needs. Totally recommend.

Fantastic location with awesome views from terrace. Perfect place for sundowner drinks before last run back into Montgenèvre. Good selection of drinks and cocktails on their menu. Slightly more pricey than other places on the hill for drinks but worth it for the views!

Specialities : fish, cheese and fresh meats from butcher. Reserve! We speak English.
Ate here for lunch as number 1 on trip. Didnât disappoint. My goats cheese salad was amazingly tasty with a lovely Dijon mustard dressing. Hubby ate tartiflette which was tasty. Service excellent and to finish was a complimentary home made shot. Try it - you will be made very welcome.
