One of two or three highly regarded restaurants in the historic center. In terms of professionalism, ambiance, cleanliness, service, and food, this was one of the best evenings I had on a two week trip. Les Comperes is buried around the corner on a side street but well worth finding. The menu was creative and the multilingual staff clarified items for us in English. Wine options to match both the veal and beef entrecôte that we enjoyed were exceptional. And portions were reasonable without being stingy. A multi night stay in town could easily bring you back here for a return visit. Prices were reasonable considering the seating and quality of the space. Delicious.

At last a cool, funky and classy restaurant in Montbéliard. The menu is in the image of the concept; good, simple and trendy, getting away from the traditional and stuffy places that seem to cling onto past glories.

If you want to enjoy the best French experience in your stay, you have to stop by Chat Toqué. Either for a breakfast or for a break, you will be able to taste amazing pies with great tea and coffee. The atmosphere is French old music and you can purchase anything around you ! Really original and own by really really nice people ! Best place in Montbéliard for sure !!

Quality produce prepared with passion and respect, presented simply and with style. Everything on your plate without exception is selected by the chef and elaborated in his kitchen. Reasonable prices for the standing, an excellent wine menu and conscientious service. The atmosphere is classy but cosy without getting stuffy.

This is a small restaurant located at a busy Montbeliar traffic artery. The few tables inside and out were filled quickly when we were there. Reservations are therefore recommended. The menu is small which is good, the wine selection is limited. You can easily see that there is a hard-working family crew trying their best to satisfy the customers. However our dishes were lacking: The Risotto was overly liquid, the steaks were tasteful but not the best meat quality. I had hoped for a Sauce Bearnaise but what was on the plate had a strange unidentifiable taste. The small ratatouille 'garniture' was entirely overcooked. Too bad, we would love to give this nice restaurant a better rating. Overall the atmosphere and the pleasant service was good. No parking on site but paid on-street parking is available.Good afternoon, first thanks for coming but i can see that anything was a pleasure for you maybe because everything is homemade and the taste seems different in that case , sorry if my kitchen is not good for you so i think its a own advice because my team pass at each table and ask if everything is fine sorry again and thanks for the quality of the service and the atmosphère , see you bye nice day

This tiny, family run restaurant is a must. The food is superb and the service fantastic with daughter serving alongside mother and son in kitchen Food is excellent. I suggest going for the set menu. Only two options but both very tasty. Costs are good value. You must book as it is popular. Close to centre and walking distance from hotels. Great place. Relaxed, simple, lovely food and great service (French speaking only).
