We spent many glorious lazy mornings here enjoying the chat, the lovely coffee and the friendly helpful service. The Du Clos doesnât sell croissants so we simply popped along to the nearby patisserie for their lovely croissants, bread and pastries and took them back to the Du Clos to enjoy with our coffee. A wonderful start to the day!

This restaurant is almost on our doorstep, but whenever we eat out we seem to get in the car and go somewhere else â¦Weâve been here a couple of times before and have always enjoyed our meal but, as weâve been with other people, the good company somewhat overshadowed the meal. However, tonight, my wife and I went on our own (it was Saturday night after all). The restaurant has been in the same family since 1999, and they do not seem to be resting on their laurels. Itâs on the main road between Grasse and Draguignan, down in the plain from Montauroux itself, and in an area which has seen commerces spring up, a little like an industrial estate. However, it is set back from the road, with plenty of parking in front, and the outside terrace dining area at the back is an oasis of calm and shade on a balmy evening like tonight. No mosquitoes either!Evening menus are at 28⬠for starter/main/dessert (or 22⬠for 2 of the three) or 48⬠(if I remember correctly). Frankly the 28⬠menu had all we wanted and our meals were well cooked, well-presented and very tasty. I loved the Gratin Niçois â a little like a ratatouille. We had previously looked at the menu on the website and were a little disappointed that the apple tart we fancied for dessert appeared not to be on the menu tonight. âNo problemâ said our host â and lovely, freshly-baked individual tarts were served â¦The wine list has many local wines (a plus point in my book) with local Provence wines in pichets and/or half bottles which is somewhat rare these days and great if only one of you is drinking. (The 50cl Châterau de Selves I had was good value at 12⬠â a nice slightly spicey taste from the mix of Syrah, Cab Sauv & Merlot.)76⬠for apéros, meal and wine for 2 had me leaving the place with a warm glow. I think weâll be going back there again whenever we can find the excuse â¦

Love visiting the Bellevue each year - a great atmosphere with something for everyone on the menu from veal, steak. seafood, pizza and salads. Not expensive four of us with wine typically around 77 Euro's. The waiters work hard. The food is average, having said that no complaints and all clean plates on our table and we eat there year after year,

We have been coming to montauroux for 8 years and always gave this place a miss due to its exterior. How wrong we were. On the main road from the motorway to the grasse - draguignan road. Not the best spot, and certainly noisy, though may be quieter in the evening as we were there at lunch. But the food, the food. Superb. A real steal at this price. We had a beer each and 2 plats for under 29 euros. Simply outstanding. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

We had dinner here and very much enjoyed the ambience of the village square watching all the comings and goings from the vantage point of Daily's Crepes terrace. Its a small enterprise, can't seat that many people and I think just the proprietor, a lady who cooks the crepes, and one waitress. But OMG the crepes they knock out - both savoury (galettes made with buckwheat) and sweet (crepes made with flour) are divine. Freshly made to order from an extensive and imaginative menu. I had a galette with ham (from the local butcher - nice touch) cheese and egg. Yum. Plus a chocolate, banana, coconut and whipped cream crepe to finish off with - double yum. Cannot recommend highly enough for something a little different in this area. Very good for lunch but also for a light dinner. Can get omelettes as well.

At the heart of the old village marina offers a cuisine with Provencal accent terrace with fountain on cobbled street. Warm dining room open daily from February to October
Visited one of our favourites again in Montauroux. Owned and run by the family, Veronique is an excellent chef and (unusually for France) produced a varied and tasty selection for our veggie friends when we visited recently. They were sufficiently impressed to say it was the best meal they had ever had in France, despite holidaying in Cannes. Expect to pat about â¬94 for three course lunch for two including a decent local wine, coffee etc..

This is relatively new, on the same site as a previous restaurant. We had a fabulous time. The service was swift attentive and knowledgable. We ate indoors as it was raining but the environment is absolutely charming. The food was amazing. The amuse-bouches (there were lots of them) were first class. I particularly liked the panacotta, tarragon mousse and apple emulsion with melon. My main course was an absolute delight.I wish this restaurant every success. It deserves it. Cher client toute l'équipe du Carré D'Ange vous remercie de votre mot qui nous conforte dans nos efforts quotidiens pour donner du bonheur a notre clientèle.Cordialement David Carré

My fiancé is currently living in Grasse and during my recent visit we found this lovely restaurant. We have gone back three times now. Delicious food and amazing service. The outside patio is great also. There was some live entertainment on Saturday evening the first time we went. I will definitely return.

Your average small restaurant in a small village in the back country of south of France. However, this one was good and affordable. The Dover Sole was good and tasty. The suggested wine was delicious.
