We were very glad to discover this restaurant, out of town on the road to Valensole. We were staying a bit to the east of Manosque and an evening at this restaurant meant we were able to avoid an evening of having to drive into town. We have often eaten at la Criée in Montparnasse in Paris and know the food quite well. We weren't disappointed in Manosque either. Lovely seafood at a very reasonable price. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely evening. If we had been staying in Manosque for longer we would probably have gone back.

I stayed in Manosque for two nights, and ate here twice. It's one of the few that's open on Sunday and Monday evenings, but well worth visiting anyway. The first night I had a chevre chaud salad, steak tartare and a cafe gourmand. All very well made and very well presented. The local wine was good too. The next time I had a pizza - wood fired and very good, and home-made tiramasu. Next time I'm in the area I'll certainly be back!

Better than average but not really very good, I'd say, based on our dinner there. Quantities are quite generous, service is reasonably friendly but the dishes we tried out were not all equally good - even if they were all OK.

We visited this restaurant after hacing read positive comment on trip advisor. The restaurant is a restaurant where student are teached cooking and serving meals under supervision of their tutor. The student who served us was obviously new and not experienced. However taken this into account she was very friendly and the tutor kept on veryfying that everything was ok for us. The food was delcious. We both took the meal of 19.80 euro which included starter, main dish and dessert which was very very tasty and well cooked. Its a suprise for us that this restaurant is currently only ranked at place 14. Price quality you will not find any better in the region.

I have had several courses there, all delicious and served in modern style (it is not just about the food, but about the way they serve it) Good selection of local wines and helpful staff makes it as a good experience. Visited also by Michelin critics and taken as the best choice once you are in Manosque. And the price? Two complete courses with bottle of local wine for less then 100 EUR makes it as a good value as well.

I really couldn't fault our meal last night. The staff are absolutely charming, friendly & nothing is too much trouble. we both went for the 37euro menu - great value for money - the cabbage stuffed with duck & foie gras was superb. Thecafe gourmand has to be seen to be believed. All rounded off with a delicious calvados.A special thank you to the waiter who came after me after I forgot my glasses

We went there for lunch last week and were nicely surprised. The restaurant is orned by paintings made by regionals and is well fitted in an ancient, vast place. The waitresses were professional and attentive. The food was good and nicely presented on the plates. We chose the Lunch formula around â¬16 and recomment the deal!

The Petit Lauragais is in the historic center of Manosque and was a pleasant surprise. There is a characteristic menu from the terroir, and evrything was extremely tasty. I had the duck and it was perfect. Only small complain is that service is pretty slow, but it's ok. Price is very very good compared to quality

We were looking for a bistrot with a fair price and good food, but this place really deserves a authentic recommendation. Presentation, staff, agility, everything was perfect. For a couple with a glass of wine you will spend 35 euro each, but REALLY well spend !!! Thanks for the experience !

This was recommended to us so we went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was full. My daughter and I had the vegan burger & fries, both delicious and the chocolate fondant, also delicious and made with chestnut flour. Our friend had the lamb cutlets with sauteed potatoes. Fresh product, vegan and glutenfree.
