I stayed here for a week on business includding one puplic holiday and the Hotel was really pretty nice with wonderful lovely staffs, especially Ms. Elze at Le Bar. Rooms are spacious and clean really enjoyed staying here. The Pool and the view is also a great satisfaction for the guests Highly appreciate their service.Breakfest was one of the best I have ever seen in 20 years business travelling.Dear Wob-er1727,Bonjour Mabuhay, Thank very much for your comment. The Old Manila restaurant in the Peninsula Hotel, Makati, Manila.
Lunch with a planned menu for a group of approximately 30 diners.Wines were selected to match the menu. The pre-dinner offerings were tasty but sparse, and some attendees missed out on being served. The appetiser course was a lamb carpaccio and was well-presented and delicious. The main course, US rib eye medallions, was nicely cooked but the serving size, including the veg accompaniments, was very small and most disappointing. The dessert (a frozen key lime pie in an "icy-pole" format on a wooden stick), was unusual but not appropriate for such a reputable restaurant. The room is rather dark and lacks a modern feel so that the overall ambience in the room was lacking.Overall, my first visit to this restaurant was also probably my last.

This Friday's is similar to what one is in North America and the interior atmosphere is kinda the same but the menu is different with some substantial changes.Service is agonizingly slow for some reason and it took incredibly long time to get drink refills and the bill when we were ready to go.The restroom did not have any soap and as well needed cleaning. The menus were sticky filthy and gross.Prices are a bit too high for the area and for the service level.I would not recommend.
