Habib and David purchased The French Pantry in April 2018 - it looks quite different to how it did! The majority of work was undertaken personally - we reopened, May 3rd 2018. Our aim is to provide different combinations and styles of food, with fun twist
We met up with some relatives over from Australia that were visiting Ludlow, it was a Monday evening and a lot of restaurants were closed. By accident we found The French Pantry, which was very busy, but they made space for us and could also cater for a gluten intolerant diner. Itâs a small but friendly place, almost like someoneâs dining room. The wine list was good and they have plenty of Gins to choose from. The menu is a set price, which we prefer, with enough choice to suit most people incl vegetarians. We found Habib friendly without being intrusive, we love small independent restaurants like this and will most certainly be back.Thank-you for such a wonderful and glowing review of The French Pantry, following your visit on Monday evening.I'm really pleased that we were able to accommodate you on Monday evening - and that you found the atmosphere, food and wine all of satisfactory quality and enjoyable. It's also great to see that my service was friendly without being intrusive! We certainly look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

We foolishly had drinks at our hotel before coming out so missed the beautiful sitting room (which we saw at the end of the meal) so recommend highly having your G & T here before eating. The space is very pleasant. We were in the conservatory, which unlike our hotel restaurant, had been designed and decorated not to feel austere and unwelcoming. We ate and drank well, apart from the Moroccan meal selected by my husband, which was bland and under seasoned. Service was pleasant. If we return to Ludlow I would be very happy to eat here again.Thank you for your Review, We also reccommend having a G & T with us and a relax on our terrace in this glorious weather! We are glad to hear you enjoyed the food and surrondings. We look Forward to welcoming you back in the future.
