Find out what French restaurants to try in Louvain-la-Neuve. Louvain-la-Neuve (French pronunciation: [lu.vɛ̃.la.nœv], French for New Leuven) is a planned city in the municipality of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, situated 30 km southeast of Brussels, in the French-speaking part of the country. The city was built to house the Université Catholique de Louvain; following the linguistic quarrels that took place in Belgium during the 1960s, and Flemish claims of discrimination at the Catholic University of Leuven, the institution was split into the Dutch language Katholieke Universiteit Leuven which remained in Leuven, and the Université Catholique de Louvain.

it's just a place for a quick lunch, don't expect more. their panini and spaghetti are not outstanding but acceptable. I particularly like one male servant there - he is always cheerful, helpful and warm, which is rare in Belgium as they are mostly cold or rigid.

La Crêperie bretonne is the best crêperie in Belgium. There is a very large choice of both sweet and salty crepes. My favorite is the crêpe with mushrooms. It's open from early morning to late at night. It's only two hundred meters away from the train station. It's an ideal place to meet friends or even for a date. As a student, I went there at least twice a month. Good memories!

Enjoyed lunch at la Galoupe. The interior is nice, with a mezzanine. The atmosphere is intimate. With nice weather, there's a terrace. We enjoyed the salad "Comme là -bas" and the hamburger. Both were very tasteful and originally presented. We also enjoyed the extended list of beers available. Service was friendly and very fast.

We were 7 people celebrating a birthday. Looking at the menu online I was confused but someone had recommended the restaurant to me so I booked. There is a tiny menu: 3 starters, 3 mains, 2 desserts. You choose as many dishes as you want and pay accordingly. The waiter explained this patiently to us and of course it was all perfect. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. There was a large selection of amuse-bouches beforehand, a âpre-dessertâ, and a couple of post-desserts as well. The waiter helped choose wine for us. And both the waiting staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive.Much of the food is made with ingredients from Belgium and even from the village where the restaurant is. All very tasty. And given the quality a very good price. Looking for a spot to meet between two cities, found this well-hidden place near the golf course of Louvain-la-Neuve, in a green and quiet area. They have an extensive menu with an addition of the day's suggestions, as well as a lunch of the day. It has a relaxing ambience with little relation to the golfers next door, but open for casual dining to families and friends. Although I would not choose fish at a location so far from the seaside, the fish dishes seemed to go very well. The fresh and creamy truffle pasta is wonderful, as are the desserts, which are plentiful, as the rest of the menu. Collection of wines suitable for all kind of budgets. At 26° with a friendly, laid-back, laissez-faire service, this feels like Italy.

The atmosphere is amazing, the hotel is brand-new and I loved the place (9/10)The staff was new, yet more than ok: kind and smiling even if you could notice the processes are not in place yet - which makes sense; it had just opened (7.5/10)The menu has some unusual and original choices and whatever you are having is well-prepared, tasty (9/10) and in reasonable quantity (7.5/10).Usually, hotel rates are high and the notes become pricey but I found it very reasonable.Overall experience is a 8.5/10 - I'll go back, and probably sleep there as the hotel looks very nice (receptionists are amazingly kind, professional, friendly and patient !!)Dear, Many thanks for your positive review concerning your stay here in Martin's Agora. Bar-restaurant completely restored with great terrace. Complete Menu monday - friday, sports menu on Week ends. Bar Always open.
We now and then have lunch at the restaurant of the Tennis Club du Parc. The food is really delicious. The menu offers mainly traditional dishes. This summer the menu included some very interesting salads composed with original ingredients. Very tasty, very original. You should try them. I hope you get to enjoy lunch on the terrace. With the Belgian weather, that's not so evident. However it'll make your lunch even more enjoyable.

Located in the heart of Brabant Wallon, this unmissable address attracts gourmets as much for the quality of the table as for its trendy atmosphere
The atmosphere was cozy and colorful, late on the evening starts some dj music. Easily accessible from the highway, there is a parking and you eat very well. I've been 3 times and never been disappointed. Last time we went on Tuesday evening and it was rather quiet. So that was perfect! Service is also nice and discreet.I recommend the Saumon Teriyaki!Good evening,We thank you for your comment and wish you a very pleasant weekend
