Had a really wonderful meal on Saturday 7th June. Delightful hosts, a charming dining room with lots of quirky items - such as a large collection of teapots, unusual glasses, etc. The food was among the best in 2 weeks in France: Salad with 3 different cheeses w very distinct flavours, duck breast with mushroom sauce really well seasoned and delicious, followed by cheese and a wide selection of deserts. The food was traditional and so well cared for which made it stand out. Very pleasant service by Madame, starched tablecloths and napkins. I believe it is only open a couple of evenings a week but is reportedly packed out by locals every lunchtime.

We visited Ici & La as it was recommended on Trip Advisor. We weren't disappointed. This was an evening family visit. The restaurant was empty when we first arrived and I was wishing for a little more atmosphere, but it appears we were just early as more people arrived shortly after us.The food was excellent. Beautifully presented, extremely tasty and reasonable priced. The waitress was friendly and efficient. If you are in Limoux I'd recommend a visit here.

Two dining options but the same commitment to a flavourful food, made of fresh, seasonal and mostly local products : For lunch BRASSERIE menus from ⬠22 from Mondays to Fridays and dinners with menus at 22, 35 and 55 ⬠from Tuesdays to Saturdays
A dinner at Tantine et Tonton was memorable in all good ways. Each dish was prepared correctly and burst with flavor. Cassoulet, a trademark dish in this region, was superb and very hearty in flavor and in portion. Veal loin was A#1. The amuse bouche had a fascinating set of flavors. And desserts to complete the meal with zest and style. Service was personal and proper--when you wanted help it was there, when you didn't it wasn't. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Well places call themselves a wine bar, they normally have a few wines...not this place, this place has pretty much only wine. An amazing choice of wines and the owner is more than happy to recommend or pick one out for your tastes. An absolutely lovely little find this and all so reasonably priced. Limoux is a lazy town and what better way to while away a few hours by sampling the many wines here and enjoying the delicious tapas.

The tapas portions are large, so 3-4 would be ideal for 2 to share. We enjoyed everything we ordered - all the dishes were full of flavours and nicely presented. A seafood tartare and a beef tartare, seared tuna, pane aux tomats and fantastic jambon. Amazing selection of wines by the glass or bottle.Wonderful to sit out amongst the locals and enjoy a warm fall evening.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! Just off the main square in Limoux, serving exciting, inventive and different food. If you love plant based food, you really must visit. I defy even a hardened carnivore not to enjoy the flavours of this food.Waoo! thanks a lot!!

Excellent cassoulet, nice red wine and friendly staff. It took 45 minutes for the cassoulet to be served but it was definitely worth the wait..A small suggestion to the gerant to turn down the sound of the conversations between the âsalleâ and the chef or to find another way for them to communicate. It was far too loud!

Visited for our second time. Typical French...my husband went in an hour early to see if we could get a table...a very big âto doâ...donât know...not sure...we will be swamped tonight...mon dieu!!!...of course when we finished dining we were only 1 of 5 tables in the entire restaurant...lol...with that said...special chalkboard minimsign simply said âcote du beouf for 2...$60 eurosâ...that was it...my oh my...best steak Iâve ever had... and Iâm from Chicago!

Set in a restored old chateau about 5mins to the west of Limoux. A little difficult to find the driveway, a much larger sign on the main road is required. The venue is attractive & interesting. There is a good selection of menus, the cheapest menus are only available on the weekdays. The service is excellent we will return again in 2019 !

We visited in the evening, the restaurant looked very inviting. The meal was average and the service was disappointing. The waiter asked many guests if they were happy with their meal, we were not asked, and he was completely uninterested and unapologetic about the piece of plastic found in my meal. A simple apology would have resulted in a second visit from us and a recommendation to friends......we will not return and will definitely not be recommending this restaurant.
