It was only after we had chosen to eat here that we realised we had been in another 'au Bureau' some days earlier. This pleased us as we had had an excellent experience. The service was good despite a very 'enthusiastic' waiter who bounced every utensil off the table. The second waiter was efficient and friendly. We would certainly recommend for value and quality of food as well as a very extensive menu!

We stopped in Dieulefit looking for a light lunch. This creperie is on the main road as you approach from Nyons. At first it does not strike you as a must stop and eat kind of place, but you should. As soon as I saw the chef/owner appear with a freshly cooked galette, we asked for a table. It was quite late but he was happy to serve us.We ate outside on a decking platform with an eclectic mix of furniture feeling we were back in the sixties! My wife had a galette and I had the plat du jour, a salad of chicken livers with a raspberry vinegarette. They were both excellent, freshly cooked and very tasty.A carafe of chilled rose was the same price I had paid for a glass the day before. For freshly cooked tasty food and outstanding value , it would be hard to beat

My wife and I were lamenting the closing of Les Brises in Dieulefit ( a superb restaurant), when a friend suggested that we try Le Quartier. Now, by an amazing coincidence we realised that Le Quartier is located in the very building that was formerly the residence of my wife's Grandmother and mother! We booked a table for lunch and, my goodness, we were delighted the with the standard of food and the service. The restaurant was full and I was the only non-French customer in the place. (My wife is French, from Dieulefit). The food was marvellous and indeed, my pork was the tenderest that I have had in 25 years of dining in France....All in all, we really couldn't fault this restaurant way at all, the service is superb and the price is amazing when you compare Le Quartier with other places in the town. Whilst it takes a bit of finding, it is well worth the effort. it is located at the opposite end of town from the main square, about 4-5 houses along from the Mairie. Enjoy !!

Restaurant et bar comprenant une cave à vins ( a consommer sur place ou a emporter) , endroit conviviale et chaleureux !
Fresh food simply prepared and perfectly cooked. Portions pleasingly large. Friendly people; colourful, relaxing decor. Menu short but very well put together so something for everyone whether just coffee and 'macarons' or superb garlic-crusted steak. Small delicatessen and wine-cave attached.Note: toilets downstairs and part of the eating area is up a step.

Highly recommended for good service, excellent food and atmosphere. Vegetarians catered for, and gluten-free was understood and catered for too. My husband declared the ravioli salad and his steak to be great, my fish stew was tasty. Worth ahead booking to get a table, they were full when we ate on a Tuesday evening.

Visited again recently, the food as usual was excellent, the service warm and friendly if a little slow. No doubt this was an indication that everything was cooked fresh to order. A medaeival castle set on a hillside, who needs to rush? I recommend booking to ensure a table.
