A lovely evening with my family here in Pignata. We had pizza and tagliatelle Langres. All really nice, the tagliatelle had a genuine carbonara taste with a local twist with their unique cheese forming part of the sauce. Pizza was nice too. Really friendly service, light airy salon, pleasant overtone. Will come again

Staff and service. Food ok but you could spend 27 Euro on a set menu somewhere else and enjoy it a lot more

The entrance was a bit daunting but the terras in the back garden was a simple country garden after walking through an interestingly decorated motorbike workshop which is the theme of the restsurant. The owner/maitre d' /waiter was attentive and unfased by the large table of schoolchildren and four other lunch tables. Service was good, the pork knuckle with thyme gravy perfectly cooked and the recommended bottle of rose very pleasant. The bill was very reasonable. .. all in all a great experience ..we would go back

Good location - can sit inside or out . I visited for lunch. Nice choice of dishes on menu . There are daily specials on board outside which are good value for money .- I had main dish of the day ( escalope of pork ,cheese sauce, broccoli and potatoes) plus dessert of the day (mascarpone and apricots and grapes ) both for 10⬠. (And I think it was 12⬠for 3 courses. )Bread basket and carafe of water were thrown in for that price too ,so very good value.Pleasant staff and nice clean premises and modern decor. Will return for an evening meal !

We stumbled upon this place in a quiet sidestreet and sat outside. The savoury pancakes were delicious, using fresh local ingredients. There was a choice of traditional ciders to drink, which was a perfect accompaniment to the food. The service was good and staff very friendly. All the other diners were French, which seemed a good sign.

Lovely Brasserie located in the historical main square of the city, right next the the statue of the famous philosopher Denis Diderot. Recently refurbished, our establishment offers a wide range of fresh products transformed by our team everyday. Our esta
In a bustling atmosphere, the super-friendly and enthusiastic staff of this brasserie in the top spot of Langres serve prime traditional French dishes such as magret de canard, gésiers, foie gras-based delicacies, but also Alsatian specials such as flammekuche, all accompanied by fine wines. Deserts are delicious. We came there while travelling through. Le Foy is a great stop to hang out and relax before heading on, or simply to have an easy night out in this sympathetic walled hilltop city in the East of France.

This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service but the food lets it down. The trout mousse starter looked amazing but was tasteless and the cod main course was over cooked and cold. The place itself is beautiful and the service is first class - they just need to get the food sorted.

When you read the menu you recognise the dishes. But when the food comes the chef has made them slightly different and interesting. A family run business with husband chef and wife waitress, keeps the costs down and allows an excellent menu du jour at 14euros50. Wine en pichet at good prices too, means you can walk away from an excellent meal for 40 euros for lunch for two. Nice terrace if the weather is good or convivial seating inside. Quite a way outside of downtown Langres, beside the canal at Champigny.

Though we have eaten here often, this time was quite a deception. The food was very average, the favorite sommeliers Vacqueras was really a cellar clearance, too old to be a favorite. The service was uninspired. What a pity for a longstanding reputation.
