Being a Sunday evening, we were struggling to find a restaurant, so the hotel suggested La Bisquine. It proved to be quite a busy restaurant filled with mainly local people who all new the staff. The food was fairly plain but quite good and the cost was very reasonable.

Dined with a group of 15 in this lovely restaurant that has been brought back to life by the new owners. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. So pleased that La Fleche now has yet another fine eating place.

This place is fantastic! I booked it for my husband's birthday and they helped me organise a cake with candles, kept it a surprise from him, and the fact we had extra guests arriving later! They were helpful with my limited French when I rang to book, so polite. They were also very child friendly to our nephew and niece, with games for kids. Most importantly the food was super - from the pizza to burger and deserts! The service came with a smile even though it was very busy. It's also reasonably priced; I would highly recommend this restaurant and visit again. Please check it out yourselves.

Cuisine familiale, frais, local, bio, tout nos plats sont est fait maison Restaurant chaleureux, coin pour enfants
As you enter this bijou restaurant, you are aware that the air is filled with the buzz of real French conversation, always a good sign! We had reserved places for three, as there are only about 30 covers available. This is one extremely popular restaurant, specialising in freshly cooked French fare. The menu changes almost every day, and offers a choice of starter, main course and dessert. There is always one Vegetarian dish. The day we went we had a starter of Lentil and Smoked Trout salad, a typical stew of Beef, carrots, onion, and potato gratin, beautifully seasoned, followed by one Lemon Mousse (delish!) and two Tiramisou, which I was told was every bit as good as an Italian one. There is an interesting wine selection, including a red Bio, which we had and which went very well with the beef stew. The service was good and the waitresses very warm and friendly. If you don't speak French, they have enough English to be helpful! Together with mineral water and coffee, the meal was a very reasonable 59 Euros, for three people. Definitely worth a visit, but do book. They are not open on Mondays and you can reserve for between 12 and 2.30. A bonus is a car park just around the corner. By the way, they stay open for afternoon tea as well!

We stopped to collect patisseries to take back to gite with us. We were spoilt for choice for both type and flavours everything looked stunning and we can confirm they taste as good as they look. Staff were so helpful and I guess used to people taking an age to make their selection. The passion for their work is clear to see and I would challenge anyone not to be tempted if you look through the window.

Whilst on a 3 day stop off in La Fleche, my husband and myself wanted somewhere to go for a light lunch. After walking through the town, we spotted the menu board outside Fleur De Sel. They were offering a 3 course menu for â¬15. Although the menu was in French and the waitress did her best to translate the menu (and with the help of a British diner). We managed to order our food. There was a choice of 3 starters, 2 main and 3 desserts. My husband opted for the celery soup to start and i had the Roquefort cake. For main we both chose the Cous Cous served with Chicken and Chorizo sausage. Very different twist on what we would normally serve together but very nice. We ended up with lemon crumble. All in all very tasty and good value for money. Washed down with a nice bottle of white wine. The total bill was â¬47.00. we would definitely eat there again.

An excellent evening meal, staff friendly and attentive, interesting menu with much detail about source of ingredients. Made us want to look for the local businesses mentioned. Best beef I have eaten this year, full of taste and very tender.good value for money and definitely well worth the 20 minute walk from the campsite.

Visited this place with my family; we all loved the burgers. This place is way better than the regular fast food restaurant.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased with the choice. The staff were very nice and attentive, the wine was great and the food was delicious. The only thing that could have been better was a salad or vegetable to accompany the main course.4/4 starsThank you

Went here in the recommendation of friends and it didnât fail. Had the delicious â¬75 three courser with wine flight at â¬39. Friendly relaxed service and the head chef and owner Camille Constantin often described the dish for us and added the final cream or sauce flourish and asked is to âsmell the pepperâ.Some excellent flavours. Not cheapBut good value. Fabulous riverside location and outside eating in the summer.
