LE CENTRAL

Local restaurant with (winter and summer) a perfect sunny terrace for those wishing to enjoy the sun whilst eating. Indoors, the dining room and bar area are divided, creating a good spread of noise levels.Food is locally produced, honest mountain food and great after a day outside. Service is efficient, with a sense of humour and as service is meant to be.

Well, we have been to La Feclaz for many, many years already but never booked us a table at Le Sapey. Until this year... as the owners very friendly assisted our friends the previous winter in de-icing their car when in was parked at the restaurants parking lot overnight, we had to make up for thus nice gesture! And we don't regret it at all!The waitress did her utmost to practice her English with us. She confessed that she had taken a course over the summer and really needed some practice. Very much appreciated by us! The good was excellent too; use salads for starters, lovely table BBQ for our teens and the best cheese fondue of the region for us! A complimentary genepi to finish a great dinner amongst friends. We'll be back! Promise!

Le saint Jo'

This summer, Le Saint Jo' changed management and did some reconstructions too, Resulting in a true mountainbike chalet atmosphere. The new management coupe has a thorough hospitality service background. This can be experienced when having a nice meal in- our outside, an after skiing drink or dinner. Yes, they may have been overwhelmed their first week of skiing high season, resulting in a long waiting time, but I am 100% sure that this will never happen again! Come and see/taste it yourself!

Le Chalet du Loup

In the middle of the wood, near a little ski station, behind the Revard and La Féclaz, you discover a very typic and charm old wood chalet. French traditionnel savoyarde cooking with best local products. Enjoy the Chalet du Loup !

To kick off our holiday we booked into the Caribou and were not disappointed. I can recommend the steak tartare which myself and my 13 year old loved. My other son said the burger was one of the best he had ever had. The service was quick, friendly and efficient and the price was correct. Overall a very enjoyable meal on all scores.

Chalet du Sire recently changed ownership. The new owners have modernised the look and feel of the interior by stripping the restaurant of all the Christmas decoration 365 days a year on display.. And sand washing the wood. The chalet now has 2 outdoor seating areas, one with a beautiful look on the valley. The food unfortunately pays the bill. The œuf cocotte is not as tasty as before, the egg was not 100% cooked and the creamy sauce was lacking cream.I ordered chicken as a main, which was heavily over cooked and thus dry. As there was no sauce with the dish I had to use mayonnaise to be able to swallow the food. Finally we were rushed to order dessert as the kitchen closes at 9PM. Are we really in France? Sorry peeps, I’m afraid we will find another restaurant in the area for our fine dining experience..Thank you Sir.You're right, recently the ownership changed. But the Chef in the kitchen is the same! The sand washing of the wood has been done more than years ago.So i don't really understand the link between the sand washing wood and what is in the plate. About the food, since the ownerhip changed, the eggs are organic, the food is local, the cheese comes from a "bergerie" near the restaurant in "les bauges", we have higher quality references when it comes to choose the local partners. If the Chef forgot to add lot of sauce, it can happen, a sign to the waiteress and it is done! and yes the kitchen close at 9PM as many restaurants in "les bauges". Taxes in France are so high that we have to reduce opening hours. By the way, we are open from 10:30 am To 11:PM.Alain

We ate here as members of a group of 35 on an overnight stop while travelling to Italy. Although the menu choice was understandably very limited because of our numbers, the food was of a good quality and served cheerfully by the staff. Generous with the provided wine, all members of staff looked after us well and I would have liked to try something of the normal menu, which seemed very appetising. As it was, we left replete and well satisfied.A big thank you for your comment and see you soon on your next trip.
