Chanced upon this little gem of a place last night and we couldnât have been happier. Great atmosphere and welcome by the staff. Excellent pizza and lasagne which you can see being prepared. Would definitely return and recommend. Welcomes both coupes and families. Also has takeaway service.

The best meal we have had in Alpe dâHuez. My wife had foie gras with ginger bread and ice cream to start which was amazing. The flavour combinations worked really well. I had snails in garlic, herbs and butter. I only ordered them because we were in France and fancied trying them. The best snails Iâve ever had. For main my wife had veal escalope and I had a shellfish stew consisting on scallops, prawns, mussels and mushrooms in a delicious cheese sauce. Both dishes came with vegetables (first weâve seen in Alpe dâHuez. Sadly no dessert as we were too full. The waiter also recommended wines by the glass to accompany our dishes. A very enjoyable evening and meal thank you.

Created by double Michelin-starred chef Christophe Aribert, the Fruitiere menu offers exciting new interpretations of the delicious local produce, in the Fruitiere-liveried decor style of a traditional dairy. Open daily from noon.

We visited by chance and were pleased to get a table. The food was excellent, I was pleased there was a vegetarian option with no cheese (very rare here), and it was delicious. The house white we had was excellent, and dessert was divine. My boyfriend had the three meats and said it was delicious. Service was also excellentThank you

Le Puits Des Saveurs est une fusion de toutes ces saveurs qui autrefois inhabituelles deviennent si familieres.Nous vous proposons un echappatoire aux "cartes conventionnelles" suivant le rythme des saisons.
We went here on one of the busiest nights they have and they were incredibly accommodating. Our service was great - everyone spoke English (and many other languages for those of us that are ignorant), they were super friendly, and we never felt rushed. Food was also really good. Made the whole night a great experience. Would def go back

Walked in without a reservation but we managed to get seated (just)Wow what a gemInstantly the decor and atmosphere warmed us and we were taken downstairs where it charmed us and welcomed us to our ski resort We had calamari and onion soup to start And amazing cote de beuf which was a little rare which they cooked a bit more for us and it was really amazing. It was served on a platter with baked potatoes with a sour cream cream in.There were caramelised shallots and vegetables. It was well presented the wine we chose was good quality and service was good.If you are heading to Alpe dâHuez this place is well worth visiting. But book ! To avoid disappointment!

La petite tavern is a little out of the way, and hence was less busy when we visited (for a lunch at the weekend in the summer). We had the goat cheese salad, which was excellent. The home made tarte citron was amazing as was the cafe gourmand. The fondue on the table next door smelt incredible and made us quite jealous. Service was good. If you are staying close by this is well worth a visit.

We stumbled across this restaurant at lunchtime and had a fantastic meal there at really reasonable prices. The cafe gourmand was amazing for 8â¬. Coffee plus four delicious sample desserts and a biscuit! A bit out of the way but worth looking for.
