We visited Pinkio with my family for birthday party for the first time. Although restaurant is quite closed to Kawagoe station (a few minutes' walk), it was a little bit hard to find in regret. ..like Idyllic hideaway..? We had Prix-fixe set for dinner time (JPY3,100/person). All dishes were courtly arranged on dishes and served by quite friendly female staff in the restaurant. It tasted quite delicious and not so oily like other ordinary French cuisines. Deserts can be choose from wide selection and see by own eyes. Not like ordinary French cuisine, every dishes served in Pinkio are quite healthy and not plushy.I sincerely recommend visiting Pinkio for those whom living in Kawagoe and other neighboring cities.Chef of this restaurant was working in Japanese five-star hotel âHotel New Otaniâ for long and worked in the hotel as an executive chef in overseas for several times. Highly recommended !

This was one of our best lunches in Japan over 3 weeks period. We found this by chance as most other places were closed on this day and we had a fabulous lunch. The detailed fish dish (entree and the main) were stunning with a bed of pumpkin and basil sauces. Couple of beef dishes were amazingly fresh and tasty. Restaurant has a huge selection of beers to choose from.What I loved is that the chef personally came very and described the dishes in English for us. Such a small thing to do and yet made you feel very special and made the lunch so enjoyable.If you're around, please make it a treat and visit this place.Thank you very much for your visit and comments.We have about 60 kinds including local beerNot all staff speak English, but they are serviced with a friendly spirit.We are also waiting for you when you come to Japan
