A charming French style cafe just one minute from the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. A little slice of Paris in the heart of the beautiful Blue Mountains.
Visited here for lunch after driving up from Sydney for the weekend. The cafe was very busy with locals (always a good indicator of quality) and the staff seemed to know their regular customers. Food was french themed and delicious. The only issue we had was that they forgot my partners Tea and we didnât get it until we had nearly finished out food. They gave us an Eiffel Tower shaped biscuit to compensate.

Quality traditional french cuisine reasonably priced, wonderful location and ambiance with spectacular views of the jamison valley. Bar, extensive reasonably priced wine list, outside dining, beautifully restored edwardian building built 1895 guest house
We live part of the year in France and scratching around on Trip advisor for a decent restaurant for our last night in Australia came across this place. It has apparently been a French restaurant for a long time and has a considerable reputation.First the good things. Two absolutely charming real French waitresses. One who lives near us in Normandy - so we had a good chin wag. Next a brilliant violinist, trained classically, but able to put his hand to any tune you like. We selected some Bach partitas just to raise the tone a bit (ha ha).But - oh dear. The bouillabaisse bears no comparison with anything we've eaten in France. An odd piece of white fish (?monkfish), three clams, one pawn and a pile of potatoes and onions. I ordered the duck. The plate came with a indeterminate sauce, a sprig of broccoli, two tiny anaemic baby corn on the cob (complete with cob) and the tiniest piece of duck I've ever been offered. No exaggeration to say there were two strips of dry overcooked duck about 4 cm long and 1 cm wide. Which bit of the bird had been sacrificed for this banquet I could not determine. We were going to leave but I had sympathy for a fellow musician and stayed to listen to the violinist. Spotting crepes Suzette on the pudding menu I got the Normandy girl to make it for us and am pleased say they were good.Because of the poor main course I can't recommend this place despite the phenomenal views of the mountains. What a pity. It could be really good. New chef maybe?

Leura's best kept secret. Snack menu and Belgian beer garden 5pm - 6pm Thursday to Monday, full restaurant menu available in the evenings and on the weekends during lunch. Great beer, fabulous food, gorgeous setting...
Itâs OK if you like a narrow menu of average food. Not to my taste and not a place to go if you are not wanting to wait for everything. First meal was undercooked so had to be recooked. $100 for 2 main meals, a bottle of water and 2 coffees is a bit rich for lunch. I just wouldnât bother. Dear Gareth,Thanks for giving us feedback.next time your in feel free to ask for our Bar/beergarden menu, we are happy to help you out with that menu if the restaurant menu isn't your thing fora light lunch.please note that our prices includes all cost a restaurant has to deal with ( staff cost, penalty rates, super, gass, rent, tax,...) Your bill that day wasn't $100 but $57, but thats aside the point. Hope to see you soon. Kind regardsFlemish Flavours

Madame Wang's Restaurant is where East meets West. A unique quirky intimate restaurant with intriguing decor and living room ambiance tucked away above an antique store at the top of Leura Mall. The menu is ecclectic with dishes from Germany, Indonesia, I
Great food and personal service. The restaurant is decorated in interesting decor loved the range of lamps and lighting. Definitely value for money

We are a European influenced Bistro and Wine bar situated in the lovely Leura village, Blue Mountains. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and are fully licensed. Throughout the week we offer a two or three course dinner set menu for $45 or $55 On
Walked in and asked politely for a table for 4 people. It was Sunday lunchtime and it was fairly busy but there were empty tables around. I was told very abruptly by a small, hitler-like gentleman dressed all in black, â no tables for 4â and then he quickly walked away rather officiously. There was no apology, no offer to merge 2 tables together, no suggestion to come back later!!!! It was the rudest interaction I have ever had at a restaurant. This gentlemanâs dark clothes matched his moody, broody demeanour! If he is not the owner I would suggest he is not good for business and the Bon Ton just lost my business and any further recommendation. If he is the owner, then he needs to do a customer service course to improve his skills!
